Nothing Bundt Cakes

Let me start by saying I have ordered several cakes from this particular location for multiple occasions and had no concerns. On this past Saturday, I ordered a cake online for a family gathering. When I went in to pick up the cake, I was advised there was no order for me. I showed the cashier my email confirmation. She attempted to search by my name and last four of card number with no results. I shared the order number and still not results. That is my first concern. Why would the system not recognize my order number generated by the company? An employee went to the back and came back with who I assume was the manager. She took down my info and checked the confirmation email. She advised me to check my bank for the charge. I advised that I have a pending charge for the cake. She said that meant the transaction did not go through. I advised her that is not true or how pending charges work. She again reconfirmed her statement and walked to the back. Immediately after the employee realized she spelled my name wrong and located my order. I still didn’t understand why it could not be located with order number or the fact that the manager acted as though my pending credit card transaction was a sign that the payment didn’t go through. I think she may need to be educated in this scenario. When you use a card as credit, it doesn’t automatically post. It starts as a pending charge. A pending credit card charge is a preauthorized transaction that has been approved but not yet posted to your account balance. Pending charges are also known as holds. Pending charges typically take up to three days to clear, but can take longer. The time it takes for a pending transaction to clear can vary by credit card issuer, and can range from a few days to up to a week. I realize this can occur with declined charges, but I also had confirmation from you all via email for my order. If there was a problem with payment, you should know that.

Great cakes for a great price! I came in to get two bundles and I was not disappointed in the taste or the price! Great staff who were polite and efficient!

We ordered some bundts for our doctor's baby shower and they were fantastic! Easily ordered online on the website and we were able to pick them up slightly sooner than we originally expected.

The only location I've visited is the Arlington location.

So I went in today, and I had my best girlfriend with me. I knew I only wanted some tiny cupcakes, but not a dozen. So we decided to split the box of a dozen. I asked if we could put them in a separate box, but the woman at the counter refused. We asked if we could pay for the box, but she still refused. I just looked at a stand-alone net worth of a nothing-but-bundt cake franchise. The net is $1,338,000.00 per year. They couldn't get us boxes so our cakes could go to two separate homes. It's so disgusting the way business owners behave these days. Customer service doesn't mean anything to them. They would rather give us a brown paper bag to put icing stacked on top of each other. This is the world now, a 2 dollar box means that much to you. Even after the customer offers to pay for the box, the manager still refused. Thankfully Cinnaholic is right next door, I will go there instead from now on. Thanks again for making it a horrible experience.

Today is my wife's birthday, and I was excited to get her a cake from here. My wife wanted buttercream frosting, and I asked if they had any cakes with that. They did not, so I asked if they would please give me a sample of the cream cheese frosting to taste. The cashier said, "No." I was surprised they wouldn't even share a toothpick of frosting to taste test.I didn't have my glasses, so I asked what kind of cakes they had since I couldn't read the labels in the case. The cashier replied, "The ones in the case."I smiled and walked out. Customer service matters.

The cakes are simply marvelous! The shop in Arlington seems very small for customer transactions. The current front desk service representation was strangely withdrawn & lackadaisical. Hopefully, I just caught them on a bad day.

Asked for a cake and ordered a blue flower on top for a birthday party. This is what I received. The cake was up to par, the presentation was terrible. Go to the North Arlington location!
