Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q

Came here and was served the most dry pieces of brisket I have ever eaten in my life. Pictured are the lean and moist cuts side by side.

We didn’t have a choice so ended up eating it anyway, but this is not the experience I expected at Rudy’s.

I usually love the cream corn. It's one of my favorites. The last few times I ordered the corn is dry and overcooked. It usually has that juicy pop and lately the corn is just shriveled and dry!

The place is nice but I didn't like the way it was served or the sauce. In short, I didn't like the food very much. They didn't have a salad and they don't serve you on plates, only paper ones.

Great food but a bit pricey. Make sure to ask for your BBQ sauce BEFORE you buy the bottle or else they only give you 1pkt per sandwich, ouch.

Never order from them if u assume the cooks or counter help can read an entire special order request together! One writes it down, but the prep cooks can't read! To much of a hurry to get back to chit chatting amongst themselves for the next rush of customs to hurry through! I have on several occasions asked for my grilled cheese sandwiches to be cut in half! And, the prep cooks, can't slow down and read! I'm handicap and can't hold a whole sandwich, only about the half. Have issues trying to pull apart the darn thing! So, those with a disability, don't go here at the I-20 location in Arlington, Texas. Go to Spring Creek on South Cooper! They will walk your order out to u and get it right every time! 🤠

Finally got the chance to try this place out, and honestly, I'm just not impressed. I ordered a baked potato and a half lb of ribs. The ribs were very tough and very dry. The sauce is excellent, but it couldn't save those ribs. The potato was black and crispy on the outside, and maybe I should have gotten the brisket baked potato, but I just got the plain with butter, sour cream and cheese. Overall, the potato was average. I spent $20+ so I probably won't be back.

Went to pickup called in order of 5 lbs of turkey was called in 24 hours in advance was there 10 mins before estimated pickup time and they had to make the order it was not even ready waited 25 mins.
