The plates are sharable size or family style dining. Which is great because you can try a lot of items. Everything we got was top notch, but I think I like Korean BBQ wings the best. They do have options out side of sushi for those who don't eat fish.

Great atmosphere and convenient location. Staff was wonderful and service was great. Food was average tasting but really overpriced for the portions. Big issue of the night was the "we just ran out of" items from the menu at 5PM on a Tuesday with only 1/2 dozen patrons in the entire restaurant. Not a good practice if you are trying to make an impression.

Utterly DIVINE! This is a special restaurant. The service is excellent and food comes out very quickly. Everything we had was spectacular. Perfect spot to hit before an event at Globe Life Park or AT&T stadium.

First visit. Upscale layout, but no valet in front and had to park around the corner. Other than that, the food was, for the most part, impressive. The lobster wontons were the highlight.
The cucumber salad wasn't really a cucumber salad. Slivers of cucumber skins do not make a cucumber salad. Dressing was nice, though.
Prices are a little higher than other local places, but this place is located in Loews.
Nice selection of cocktails.

It is unbelievable to me that this place has the high reviews it has. This place is all about the scene, and not about the food.

For the prices they're charging, the food here is astoundingly mediocre. I sat at the sushi bar. At a good sushi restaurant, the sushi bar is the beating heart, and customers get to interact with the sushi cooks. Here, it operated like a clean and efficient but joyless factory, and my attempts to strike up a conversation were complete failures.

First came the tiniest snow crab taco ever. It was pretty good, but for $12, it should have at least approximated a full bite. I ordered a 10 piece sashimi platter, with instructions that I specifically wanted the Scottish salmon and the hotate (whole scallop). They omitted the hotate, and did not offer to correct their mistake, so I ordered it separately. I also asked for freshly grated wasabi. The fish was all bland and flavorless and too cold, an indication that they're not fresh. Even the "freshly" grated wasabi was watery and flavorless. I've never had that experience before with fresh wasabi. In fact, their "fresh" wasabi was *less* pungent than the wasabi from a tube. Finally, because I was still hungry and didn't feel like going to another place to wait and order, I ordered the yellowfin tuna tartare. It was ok, but again, the dish had problems with being watery and flavorless, indications of being on ice too long.

Finally, it took 20 minutes to wave down the waiter to get the check.

Last week, my husband and I visited our son in the Dallas area. We're no strangers to the Dallas culinary scene, having experienced many great restaurants there. This time, we decided to try Soy Cowboy in Arlington, and it ended up being an absolute delight.
The restaurant itself is beautiful and very spacious, yet the seating feels private and intimate. The staff were outstanding throughout our meal. We ordered a variety of dishes, starting with appetizers like lobster tacos, cucumber salad, dumplings and rock shrimp tempura followed by a couple of sushi rolls.
The main courses were all expertly prepared - the lobster and beef were particularly outstanding, complemented beautifully by the chicken fried rice. To finish, we enjoyed a delicious cheesecake and cocoa-nut dessert.
At the end of our meal, we had the opportunity to speak with the executive chef. It's clear he is a true master, as each dish that came from his hands was a culinary work of art.
The only downside? We had to eventually fly back home. But if we find ourselves in the Dallas area again, Soy Cowboy will be at the top of our list.

Very cool place, great vibe. Sat at the bar for dinner. Great bartender with many suggestions which was helpful and the bar was super cool and loaded with great options. I had the filet and it was very good it came out already cut and in an Asian fusion style of cooking, was very good. The sushi was good too. Will def be back.

I had an incredible experience. The ambiance is modern yet cozy, and the staff was super friendly. I ordered the tomahawk, and it was amazing—perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Pairing it with one of their craft cocktails was a great choice.
