The food is good but the service is poor. The cashier was on her phone the whole time.

There is no opportunity to order smaller portions if we are a smaller family not needing to eat $70 worth of food. It is poor service to not allow for this.

Cozy restaurant with friendly staff. The chicken la giang hotpot is amazing – tangy, flavorful broth with tender chicken and fresh herbs. Perfect spot for a tasty Vietnamese meal!

We ordered the deep fried catfish on the phone beforehand because it takes about an hour to prepare. We still had to wait about twenty minutes after the allotted time. The food has a very at home feel. The sauce is different than I’ve had before for summer rolls, it’s pineapple based. The catfish was a little bland, but I think that it supposed to be that way because they want the sauce to shine. A unique experience!

I hosted a birthday dinner here for a party of 12 for a close friend. Knowing that baked fish takes longer to make, I called an hour ahead to place the order. Everything was ready when we got there. We also ordered hotpot, 2 trio delight, and another baked fish. Everything was pretty tasty except the sauce that came with it. The sauce is very critical for this type of dishes, so that was a bummer. Otherwise, everything was great and the service was good.

Hands down the best canh chua (Vietnamese sweet and sour fish soup) and ca kho tho (caramelized fish) in Arlington, TX. The portions are much larger than other restaurants within the surrounding area. The good news as well is that they re-open since 2/14/25.

The ca nuong (fried fish) is another dish that is very filling. My in laws love it.

I see a lot of 5 stars reviews, at first I thought it must be really good. After I eat there one time I started to wonder if those 5 stars reviews are their family or friends posted . So please take your time and read my review below:
- The food is decent, not super good that you have to dropped jaw, but it’s not bad. It’s average I would give 3.5 stars for the food
However the service and environment are super horrible. It’s hot at 95 degrees outside and they have A/C on at 78 ( I accidentally look at the thermostat on the wall) and they have two big and loud fan to cool off the place like some outdoor place they use. We walked in at around 6pm and the place is empty, only two of us there and they seated us in the corner closed the loud fan that blows direct to our face, so we asked to seat at other table close to the window, they said they have party of 20 people coming in later, so we understand that and choose to seat at other table that we don’t have to hear all the noise of the fan blowing directly to us. We ordered one fried quails, one nem nướng and one shrimp fried rice and they don’t even give us a portion of vegetable, if we want it we have to pay for it, it’s kind of weird for us because other place they normally provide vegetables when you order nem nướng. Ok no problem, we will just move on with that, but then the fish sauce that they bring out doesn’t come with any hot sauce or siracha sauce, I looked up to see if anyone around and ask for it, but no one come around. After around 10 minutes one lady walked out from the restroom and walked by us, she didn’t even bother to check on us, I have to wave at her and asked for hot sauce, and she came back with a little container of hot sauce, I never see any restaurant that don’t even have a bottle of hot sauce on the table for customers to use if they needed. And my husband ordered a hot tea, and he asked for sweet and low and they don’t have it, then he asked for regular sugar, and again they bring out a small plastic container of sugar, we just started laughing, because we never see any place that so stingy that they don’t even have any condiments on the table. Ok we just shake our heads and eat, then the whole time we were there no one ever come back to see if we need more hot tea or something, my husband needs more hot tea and he never got it, and we look around and we see 3 or 4 of them sitting around playing on their phone or talking. And by time we’re done eating we still don’t see any party of 20 coming like they said. Really bad experience, if I ever starving for baked catfish I may just order to go, because they’re the only place in Arlington/ Grand Prairie make this. I definitely never want to dining in again.
