Moved away from the Athens area in 2013. Still have family there. Places I missed food wise in Athens came to mind and Burger Barn is one of my 2. I'd get burgers and fries for my hubby right before his lunch break so it'd be ready when he headed home. We'd meet at home at the same time every time. Best burgers and fries! 12/10

I read about this place a while back and was really looking forward to trying the burgers during my visit to Athens. The burger was decent, but the service was not good at all. The gentleman who cooks the food was not interested in conversation and was quite short while we were ordering. Bad day? Maybe, but definitely not going back.
