“New favorite stop in Athens.”

“Today I went to have lunch with my husband and toddler son. He’s autistic. He was stemming and kicking the bench and the elderly couple sitting next to us got annoyed. The gentleman got up to tell us to tell our son to stop kicking. He asked very annoyed and in a rude manner. I did not reply. Then I explained to our sweet waitress that our son is autistic and the kicking was stemming and is more noticeable because he has AFOs on. She apologized for them and I asked her if she could just move us because I don’t expect everyone will understand unless they have a loved one with special needs. She did, and we had a lovely dinner and she was so sweet and the manager gave us a discount on top of that. They did not have to and yet they did. They took care of the situation discreetly and we were able to continue to enjoy our meal. Thank you so much for kindness , compassion, incredible service❤️ and delicious food”

“We stopped in while visiting Athens for the day. The place was recommended by my boyfriend’s coworker. There was nothing fancy about the dining area but the food was soooooo good! The homemade yellow queso was incredible as well as the salsa. We ordered gorditas and the chile rellenos and both were delicious!! 😋 A young man waited on us and they were very attentive and kind. The food was hot and fresh! We will be back for sure!”

“Definitely recommend After hearing so many good things about this place, I decided to give it a try. I was disappointed to find out that they closed at 8:00 pm, but was pleasantly surprised when the owners offered to sell me roasted chicken, aguas fresa, and tortillas flour and corn even after closing hours. The owners were incredibly sweet and generous, and I ended up getting roasted chicken and corn tortillas. I can't wait to go back and try the full menu and experience the friendly and welcoming atmosphere again. The owners of this joint truly go above and beyond for their customers.”

“Service nixed what would have been a 5-star review. This location was probably one if the cleanest Braums we've been to in a while. Walked up to the counter to order and 4 employees were all gathered around the drive thru window. Standing there for several minutes without even knowing we walked in the door. I get it... someone cool or famous must have pulled up to the window. Maybe some famous tiktok-er....Or maybe not. As the cashier finally decided to come help us, something more important must have pinged her phone and she had to take it out if her pocket and check it before attending to the customers. Order placed and our food came out hot and fresh. Hard to beat a double bacon cheeseburger combo meal for only $9.00. Burgers, fries, drinks and that unlimited Braums sauce were all perfect. Our visit ams experience was almost perfect.”

“we drove an hour 2 weeks ago to try this place out to celebrate my fathea retirement. it was a busy evening we had no reservations. 6 pple. she told us 45 min wait. we said ok. she seated us in 10. Great service! Great food! clean restaurant with a nice view of the water. we are anxious to visit again!”

“Overall the meal was great. I had the seafood platter. Fish and shrimp were great. The crab was good but a little small. Hush puppies definitely a HIT! I also tried the gumbo but it doesn't stand up to New Orleans style. Would love to see whole catfish added to the menu!”

“I thought this was a food pantry as I opened the door to go in. It is not. They actually serve to go lunches for the homeless or unfortunate.
The staff were very nice and gave me a bag. So I said thank you and ate it in my car. Rice with beans, hotdogs and good seasoning, a baloney sandwich, and cake. Thank you all. Lunch tasted great!”

“Despite the mixed reviews, it may have been a bad time for them. I’ve never been here before and order a single entree (jalapeño chicken with lo mein) while waiting for laundry to dry. The lady who works there is kind and the choices are limited. The food I ordered was both delicious and fresh, with lots of flavors and the perfect amount of spice. I will definitely return again!”

“Work graveyard shift, every Saturday morning & Sunday morning eat lunch there. Always same order, burger, fries & small drink. The burger is always great, but the fries are different The fries are always hot, but if store is busy the fries are very crispy (Great). But if the is not busy, the fries are still hot. They are very limp & saturated with oil. On these occasions I just throw them away. Don't know why this has held true since May 2022. Frustrating”

“I really enjoyed my Greek salad. This is my second time trying schlotskys, my first time was at a different location and I disliked my sandwich.It's a healthier version of fast food in my opinion. They are slightly on the pricey side but the ingredients seem very fresh.The cashier didn't know the difference with the dressings, but he was polite. Our food was brought out quickly.The dining room is pretty plain. The bathroom is pretty clean. It's a typical chain restaurant.

Parking: The parking lot is slightly small but there is a hardware store next door that can accommodate a truck and trailer.”

“We had an excellent experience at Applebees, and I want to make sure management sees this, especially considering it was a busy Saturday night. To be completely honest, the last time we were here (over a month ago), it was a bad enough experience that we had written this location off. This completely changed that. Our server, Zachary, was outstanding from start to finish. Even with how busy it was, we never once had to ask for refills—he was already there when we needed anything. The food came out perfectly, right on time, and everything was accurate. What really stood out was how great he was with our kids. He made sure they were part of the experience and even had toys to give them, which kept them happy and made the entire meal relaxed and enjoyable for our family. Doing that on a packed night says a lot about his professionalism and awareness. Zachary is a true asset to this location and absolutely deserves recognition. Service like his is the reason we’ll be coming back.”
