I always take my out-of-town friends to this eatery, and I often frequent this establishment. I have never been disappointed with the quality of food or it's preparation or the service there. Even on a busy night, their service is prompt. I get a great meal at a reasonable price. Often, I see large family gatherings there. It has that Southern atmosphere and ever server there is quite personable. My favorite server is Heather. The success of this restaurant lies in the hand of the store manager Sammy Hernandaz as he runs a very tight ship there.

What a fantastic experience at the Cotton Patch in Athens, thanks to our waitress, Karie! She provided excellent, friendly service and had the best recommendations—the avocado ranch was a game-changer! She was so kind she even brought me a small one to go. Highly recommend asking for her! Her warmth and attentiveness are a true credit to the restaurant.

Today I went to have lunch with my husband and toddler son. He’s autistic. He was stemming and kicking the bench and the elderly couple sitting next to us got annoyed. The gentleman got up to tell us to tell our son to stop kicking. He asked very annoyed and in a rude manner. I did not reply. Then I explained to our sweet waitress that our son is autistic and the kicking was stemming and is more noticeable because he has AFOs on. She apologized for them and I asked her if she could just move us because I don’t expect everyone will understand unless they have a loved one with special needs. She did, and we had a lovely dinner and she was so sweet and the manager gave us a discount on top of that. They did not have to and yet they did. They took care of the situation discreetly and we were able to continue to enjoy our meal. Thank you so much for kindness , compassion, incredible service❤️ and delicious food

CP is our favorite Athens restaurant because of the normally great food and even better service. Tonight we waited for over 10 mins after being seated then left without eating or getting drinks. Other people who came after us were seated and being served before us. There were one large table and 4 small table of customers the place wasnt busy at all. We gave up and went to Chili's.

We enjoyed our lunch at the Cotton Patch. Our appetizer was chips & queso which was good, although I like my queso a little bit thicker. The Tex-Mex salad was scrumptious. My husband cleaned his plate, he had a chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes & green beans. Our server was very polite.
