We did not have good service. The food was mediocre. We waited a long time to be seated, even though they were not busy. I was very disappointed in our entire experience.

My husband and I had two meals the day we ate here one we ate with my entire family. And then we ate dinner here and then went to bed. I am pregnant luckily my toddler and baby did not eat with us. My husband and I got the worst food poisoning and we where in bed for 38 hours vomiting. Will never eat here again.

Waited all week to have the all you can eat catfish. Food came to table and catfish was way overcooked. Very disappointed. All the other food was delicious as usual. Just not happy with overcooked fish. Won’t make that mistake again.

This place is amazing, but the staff is better. Angela Napps at the Athens, TX location is the best. She is our favorite server. She is so polite, happy, and always smiling. Her and my daughter have sparked a friendship and to see their faces when they see each other just makes my heart happy. This lady is amazing!!!
Had an Awesome lunch today! Fried fish, broccoli casserole, fries, hush puppies and baked squash. Everything was good home cookin'. Shelby was the best server, polite, above and beyond!

Reliable country cooking - good rolls, and chicken fried and an overall menu spread. Service is usually good. The only thing that comes up is having to wait for the check and paying. They sometimes have mobile pay to expedite that issue but they aren’t consistent about it.

Stopped in for lunch with the family. Our server was Angela N. she was awesome. She was super nice and fun and did a great job. Angela was quick with the appetizers, drink refills, and anything else we needed. The food and service were great.
