Some of these local so-called guides don't have a clue. I've been going to daylight donuts since the '70s. They always have a variety unless they're sold out. You snooze you lose.
I normally would give 5 stars but this past year the donuts are not as lite and have more of a dough taste. I still drive from Tyler to get them bc they are still better than others.
Our usual donut shop (close to the house) was closed so we found this shop. I’m a visitor to Athens and this shop is a little hard to see from the street (if you’re unfamiliar with the town you might miss it) but GPS picks it up just fine. Service was excellent and the donuts were great. My only issue is that my granddaughter wanted a breakfast sandwich and they don’t make them at Daylight Donuts. Still….. great place.
