Sour dough bread seemed to be missing the sour part. Not like any sour dough bread I have ever had. More like plain white bread. Very disappointing.

I was a little weary to try and new bakery for my wedding cake. We have used other bakeries in the past and have received subpar cakes. From the time we walked in the door at KaraBoo Bakery we were treated with respect. I gave instructions as to what I wanted and they took detailed notes. When I saw my cake it looked better than I expected but......when we tasted the white cake with raspberry filling it was AMAZING!!!! The lemon layer tasted just like fresh lemons š. We were absolutely pleased beyond expectation.
Oh I forgot, the German chocolate grooms cake was excellent also!
If you want an excellent cake go with these guys

I usually only write good reviews for places, but I just had to do this to warn other people so their eevent is not ruined as well . I ordered a cookie cake for a birthday party. It was expensive ($40 for an 10 inch cookie cake)but I was expecting a bakery quality cake so I went with it. When I showed up to pick it up, I donāt think it was even ready. I asked for very simple writing on it so i think the just threw it on after i got there. I had to wait for it. It was odd to me that they were not friendly to me either like usual, but I guess they were embarrassed. (I was there at the time they told me). I will say it was a nice thick cookie (deeper than the grocery store ones / probably about and inch and 1/2). But, when we cut it a couple of hours latter it was so dry we could hardly cut through it. It was so very tough and dried out that I had to put on a cutting board and pound the knife. No one could eat it like that. I ended up just cutting tiny pieces from the center center pieces to freshen in the microwave and luckily I could put some ice creme I had on top. But most people could not eat it. I picked up a gluten free brownie and some other cookies too. The brownie was like a hockey puck (Iāve gotten them before there and they were fresher - but not that day) and some other cookies. The lemon cookies were ok but the oatmeal were dry and hard. Overall, Iād say itās luck of the draw to buy from here, but for that amount for a cookie cake any supermarket would be much better and for 1/3 of the price. Very disappointing. It couldāve been better if they had just said ālook, we had an issue today, itās not our best showing, Iāll give you a discount or something off your next orderā. But it was like they were trying to hide it. Itāll be a long time before I ever try them again, and Iām very leery of their other restaurant now too. I was actually dealing with the owners, which makes the situation even worse.

Everything else here was great, but the breakfast sandwich was very disappointing. It came with American cheese and a tiny piece of egg. I ordered an egg and cheese sandwich, I expected it to at least have two eggs in it. I figured it would just be scrambled eggs with cheddar. Instead, itās one overcooked over easy egg with American cheese! Like what!! The Reuben was good though.

I would not recommend this place after seeing the cake that they made for my friends little boys first birthday. Such horrible customer service. They used things on the cake they were asked not to use, & put hard sprinkles on a 1yo cake! ??āāļø who is supposed to eat that, the sprinkles were piled on like a toddler spilt them over the cake. Also looks like a child wrote the name on the cake. Absolutely unprofessional & unacceptable.

I CALLED AND SPOKE WITH THEM THEY OFFERED $25 REFUND OR A DISCOUNT ON A FUTURE CAKE, I DID NOT ACCEPT THAT OFFER AS I PAID $122 AFTER TAX ON A CAKE THAT THEY MESSED UP NOT ME. I WILL POST PICS OF WHAT THE CAKE SHOULD OF LOOKED LIKE(IN MICKEY MOUSE THEME) AND WHAT I GOT PLUS THE ORDER FORM. THEY TOOK THIS SPECIAL MOMENT AWAY FROM OUR SONS 1ST BDAY THATS SOMETHING WE CAN NEVER GET BACK. Highly recommend. Weāve been using them for months for our desserts. Had her whip me up a special request chocolate peanut butter sourdough loaf! Communication was on point. Ordering and pick up was easy. Super affordable and super tasty!!
