We got four different meals & not one complaint. Were told the tamales are homemade. I had green chicken Enchilada. I ate all 3 plus the beans & rice. Not the typical tex-mex rice. Only one plate was not clean, she just couldn't eat it all. If I'm in Athens again, I would try them again. Bonus tip. Pay cash & get a discount.
Got food to go which apparently does not come with complementary chips/salsa, did not give us sour cream with our fajitas, meat was ok at best and they also charge 4% when you use your debit/credit card. Ochoas blows this place away, will NEVER be back!!!
Mariscos in Athens is one of our new favorites! I will never get enough of their chicken quesadillas or chipotle enchiladas. For something a little lighter, the taco salad and the flautas are great. Guac is always so fresh, and the queso with taco meat tastes like my childhood! Fantastic service as well. Our waiter (HATE that I forgot his name) goes above and beyond to make sure we understand the menu and get exactly what we want! He doesn't wait for us to ask what the options...
