First time here, LOVED IT! I think I found my new favorite lunch spot. Had a lunch combo and a drink. I ate off the menu even though there was a lunch buffet. I thought the food was super fresh and filling. Staff was super attentive and polite. 10s across the board from me, I can't wait to eat here again!Parking: Shares park with multiple venues and its at the back of the square.

Absolutely the worst restaurant in Athens. Food on Buffett is disgusting and cold! Owner Tilo is rude and very unprofessional to customers when you complain about the quality of food. Better places to dine in Athens, so stay away!

Went for lunch on Sunday, a few items on the buffet were not hot (barely warm). Nice variety on menu. Desserts were good.Will try again but maybe for breakfast or order from menu.

I hate writing negative reviews but I feel as though in this case it is the right thing to do. For those who are interesting in renting a room here I would advise against it. This would have been our third time to do so and each time we have had similar issues. This time specifically each time we called or visited we spoke to different people and received mixed information. At no time were they rude, it was just inconsistent information which made for difficult planning. Prior to our event we were shown the room were we would be. In the past, there have been white tablecloths available for the tables. However, this time we were told there would be a fee to clean each tablecloth if we wished to use them (this was on top of the amount we were charged to rent the room). There was also a stack of chairs in the corner as well as tables leaning against the wall that they could not guarantee us would be moved out of the room for the event. They said they believed the chairs could be moved but that they could put a tablecloth or curtain to hide the tables against the wall. During the visit the tables were also dirty, which was a little off-putting. We ended up canceling our reservation at the last minute because it would just not have worked for our needs. They were kind enough to refund a percentage of the cost which was greatly appreciated so I commend them for that. The reservation was made under a family member's name, I am simply the one leaving the review as we were all part of the decision.

We ate breakfast here. It was really good. The quiche was great as was the pancakes. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.

I really feel disappointed having to write this one star review. I've been eating at Tilo's for a long time, the food and service has been great up till this last week. The last few times I've had breakfast here I received rude service and some of my food was over cooked. The rude service has always been from the same waitress (Caucasian woman wearing glasses). I have no clue what caused her to start being rude to me. I'm usually half asleep and I keep to myself when I come in for breakfast, I've never been ugly to anyone at this restaurant and I always leave a tip regardless of what kind of service I get. The last two times I've had breakfast here the bacon was so over cooked it was hard a brittle, it literally shattered into several pieces when I tried to eat it.
