This used to be one of the best fast food places in town, but it has been going downhill for last couple of years. They charge a premium price, but the food is rarely correct or fresh. Tonight’s chicken was dry and lukewarm at best, and gravy spilled all over my food. Drive thru line moved very slowly- very disappointing to wait so long and not even have fresh food. I wouldn’t leave this review if I felt like this was a one off. Sadly, this has just become the new normal here.

Frequently I have to pass through & have stopped at the Chicken Express. I'm not one to leave one star reviews on places especially this establishment but I have yet to have a good experience. My spouse & I worked at a separate location in our youth and this location is opposite of what I know of chicken express to be. Today cut the cake finally for me... workers appeared to just be standing around as we waited an eternity for: two rolls, a side of Mac & cheese and a small sweet tea. My neurodivergent son had a meltdown that could be heard by passing management. After we were finally able to get our order - it was incorrect and packed incorrectly. How does someone eat without a spoon or napkins? Which is what you're trained at Chicken Express on when packing. -- we love our Express friends but we will not be returning to this location. Today was the final straw after previous mess ups & the random occasion of being closed midday.

Food was prepared correctly. A little pricey for 1 meal was almost $16. The booths need to be bolted down my toddler got 3 fingers pinched due to the whole booth moving when I sat down

My wife and I were driving from Austin to Texarkana on Saturday night. The young lady who handled our food order was polite and the food was excellent. We are still recalling the nice experience.
The food at Chicken Express is very good, the chicken strips, mashed potatoes and gravy, cole slaw; everything I have had is good. The only thing I don't like about Chicken Express is that you only get one side item such as mashed potatoes with their combo meals (eg. 4 piece chicken strips), unless you order an extra. A combo meal should come with 2 sides.

The food at Chicken Express is very good, the chicken strips, mashed potatoes and gravy, cole slaw; everything I have had is good.
