holy crap, next level. went here on a whim. absolutely killer. sausage gravy is a game changer. meatloaf was next level. highly recommend.

Walked in and the sign said to take a seat and server would be right with me. Walked past at least four employees/servers near the front and sat down at a table. Waited 10 minutes for someone to take my order while the employees just stood around talking near the front. So i left. Ridiculous. They won't ever get my business after that.

Was told it was open seating when I walked in. Place was very empty. I choose a booth because I was needing to work as I was traveling for business but the waitress said I wasn’t allowed to sit there and very rude didn’t care I was a paying customer. I left and went to another restaurant.

Food was atrocious considering each app/entree was over $15. Tasted like fries was pre made and reheated. Chicken sandwich was sub par. Chicken wings was ok.

09Dec - 7:20PM — Stopped in after traveling all day. MNF was on, and I wanted to sit and watch the game for a bit. Kitchen was closed, so I asked for a water, as soda is full of sugar, and I’m taking a break from alcohol. He clearly was upset and beside himself to be asked to pour a glass of water. “Uhhh, water, ummm…” yes, a water, are you confused by water?!? You’re a bartender right? Lazy slob can’t be friendly unless he thinks he is getting a tip, what else are you doing? After reading other reviews seems like this place doesn’t look for customer focused employees, then again everything sucks more in Texas!

The manager a young African American guy was so rude to the staff and it made me and my sister very uncomfortable. We didn't trust eating the food but we paid for the order and left to board our plane. I'm trying to contact their corporate office but no one was will to provide it with him present. As a manager in the service industry it was very alarming to see the intimation on their faces.

I went with my son we were flying back to back wanted to enjoy some good food on a little layover my total was $27 for dry burger and rude service. The server didn't even speak one word to me and basically threw my food at me. I was trying to be nice but it was so rude

The one plus to this place... It's right across the way from Alaska gates in the airport. The chicken and waffles were horrible and for the price was even worse. Who knows when the grease has been changed or what. The chicken was dark, overcooked, nasty. So much so when I was done with the meal and the bartender/server saw all the nasty deep fry. He laughed and goes " oh, a little crispy today"--- ya think? We watched multiple people come in and not be greeted or serviced within a timely manor and left. While it seemed the only person working was the bartender. The two in the photo, started like this for roughly 15 minutes, this after sitting at a table for another 20 minutes with a cook from the back. Again, people were leaving because they were not getting service. My wife and I just chuckled while watching all of this, in shock.
This was a solid place to grab some food and a beer at the Austin airport. A hot sandwich with fries and a big IPA was $30. I was pleasantly surprised by the price. The food was good and the people were friendly. Well done.

Awful food. The waffle was reheated, rubbery, and folded in half; the toast was stale and hard to bite through. The server was very nice but we never got coffee refills either.

Unlike Parkside, 24 diner actually had fast service and food available. It was in line with pricing and portion sizes were pretty big for me.
Drinks were fast and always topped up.
Thanks for making a long day bearable for this traveler
