Excellent food! The meatballs were divine .. the atmosphere was calm yet energetic. Our young waiter was very attentive and friendly.
We had a great time, really enjoyed the food the fresh bread and olive oil with chile flakes, fried avocado appetizer was amazing as was my chicken piccata. And the coconut cake, all were divine!
The menu is creative and food was well prepared and presented nicely. Definitely a hidden gem.
We are big fans of 34th Street. We've been customers for years, and it never disappoints. Our most recent meal was exceptional and the atmosphere was pleasant and allowed us to easily visit with our friends.
Excellent food, friendly & professional wait staff. Always an enjoyable evening. Thank you!
My wife and I went to the 34th Street Cafe for her birthday. Travis, our waiter, was terrific and made our evening enjoyable. The Salmon that both my wife and I had was excellent! Their wine list is plentiful but not over whelming. We live south of the city and it is worth the drive to be able to enjoy such a great restaurant!
Delightful neighborhood restaurant with a wonderful laid back atmosphere. Perfect evening for friends to reconnect. Our food was delicious! We enjoyed the Venison Pizza, Hack Salad, and the Crab Cakes. We will definitely be back!
34th Street Cafe is a neighborhood restaurant that is very comfortable, offers great service, and has wonderful food and wine. All for a very fair price. We always run into friends there.
This is a hidden gem. The food quality is great, the service was kind and casual. The chef really takes pride in his dishes and there is a vibe of good charm in the atmosphere, from the modern/retro look. Surprised this place was not packed on a Saturday night, great find!
First time there for us. The food was delicious and the noise level was perfect for conversation. It's a cute little neighborhood cafe. If it were closer to our neighborhood we would be there every week.

First time here and we'll be back! The chicken piccata was delicious! Food came out quick. Great wine selection and prices. Save room for dessert. The coconut cake was devoured!
Wonderful for an early family dinner! Or a little later for a date night or dinner with friends. Always friendly service and excellent food! I've been for brunch and lunch and had a wonderful time.
This is a fantastic place for the older crowd as food is fabulous, the restaurant goers well heeled, and the noise level is only increased by others knowing each other. Eddie Bernal, the owner has outdone himself. And it is near at hand in that it is close.
We go there frequently because the food is very good, the staff is welcoming, and It is such a comfortable venue. The music is usually appealing but occasionally not so likable. The place gets a little noisy at lunch but quieter for dinner. Overall it is our favorite restaurant.
I have never been able to order something different than the chicken piccata ... no matter how many times I say I am branching out ... because I love it that much ... but this time I did! And the pork chop did not disappoint. It was perfect.
