The special for the evening was a Gumbo which was delicious. I had the Picatta with the chicken, the chicken was juicy and rice was perfectly seasoned. We loved the bread board also.
We love 34th Street Cafe, it never disappoints. The chicken piccata is outstanding (honestly the best in Austin, if I dare say it). They also have a great wine selection, and the service is consistently friendly and attentive. A perfect spot for a group dinner or a cozy, quiet night for two.
34th Street Cafe has been a family favorite for a long time, and it continues to live up to our expectations time and again. Exceptional food, good service, and a wonderful dining experience all work to make dinner there as good as expected. :)
