Some of the best burgers in town! 5280 has a really expansive food and drink menu, great service and owners and one of the best happy hours in north Austin. Just beware it's an eagles bar during football season ;)

Stopped in for lunch. The Baja burger was great, if really, really messy. The fries were OUTSTANDING. Crispy but thick cut and fresh. Just a great combination.. Highly recommended!

This place is the definition of a hidden gem. We were pleased with the restaurant from the moment we walked in the door. The staff was very friendly and you have the choice of sitting in the lounge/bar area or the more traditional dining room. Our server Jenae (I'm sorry if I spelt that wrong) was AMAZING!!!! She was attentive and provided great recommendations on what to order. We were also wanting to order Mexican Lagers to drink which were $8 and she recommended a very similar one that was only $5. Nothing but great things to say about her. The menu is filled with great options, ranging from salads, specialty fries, amazing burgers, and more. We started out with the loaded fries. We wished that they were a little crispier but overall happy with the taste. For our meals, my boyfriend and I both ordered the "I can't decide" where we got two slider versions of the burgers listed on the menu. I ordered The Perfect Burger and the Durango. The jalapeño cream cheese on the Durango really set it over the edge. He got the What the Guac? and the Black n Bleu. All options were phenomenal and we are already talking about what we will get the next time we go. We ordered the custard for dessert. I got the custard with Reese's and he got the Oreo Mix-Up. Jenae gave me my custard for free as a welcome gift. Once again- nothing but great things to say!

Great menu and a nice spot to stop for a break. And if your dog is with you they have a dog welcome patio and they love dogs. We will be going back.
Everyone is so friendly, burgers and shakes are amazing. I really enjoy 5280 burgers go and try one. Lunch special is a great deal!

The service was amazing! Loved our waitress. We indulged in 3 separate burgers, and they were all great. Can't wait to go back to try others. The meat tastes fresh, which was a huge plus.

Hidden gem. Really great burger, not your usual tiny over priced burger, a delicious 1/2 lb burger with perfect old school cut toppings, reasonably priced. Loaded fries were also solid, well cooked, held up to a respectable queso and the like. Nice draft list for local beers, large ice cream / shake menu for the kids, plenty of TVs to watch sports. Also, nice gated patio between buildings with a good dozen tables, they have cornhole and it's kid friendly so a nice place to be able to not stress when the kids have wiggles. As a local dad in need of a spot where we can snag a beer and not worry about the kids this is an oasis. Cheers.
