We were a party of 4 and enjoyed the enclosed patio seating. Nice ambiance and the weather was awesome.
The food quantity and taste was mid. We have had great Italian trattoria fare in other cities and really enjoyed it. What inspired me to write this review is the dessert. Our waitress recommended the Profiteroles. These were very very meh. The creme filling tasted greasy and slightly rancid. The chocolate was very quotidian. The ice creme tasted like it was supposed to. And on top of that for some inexplicable reason she charged us more for it.

Don’t come here if you don’t want to deal with the rude owner/manager. I was parked in the parking lot for a solid 30min with no issues. I was just trying to eat my food after a long day. The second I hop out the car to throw my garbage away (in the public trash can, NOT the businesses garbage) and the owner suddenly storms out the establishment and starts SCREAMING at me. He rudely yells at me from across the parking lot to move my car and that I can’t park here despite the entire parking lot being completely empty and me being parked there already for 30 mins. I had no clue I wasn’t allowed to park there. If you had an issue I would’ve appreciated it if you approached me like a normal person and asked me to please move my car instead of screaming at me from across the parking lot like a jerk. No wonder this place is always so empty. I was curious about this restaurant before, but now I will definitely not be spending my money here.

Great atmosphere and kind service. The food is ok. Pasta resembled boxed from a grocery store and sauces were underwhelming. All guests at dinner are…not feeling well. I would not return.

68 is one of our favorite date spots. The food is always incredible. We've had just about everything on the menu and keep going back. Lamb rigatoni, caesar salad, polenta, and fettuccini are some of our favs. Also, every wine is amazing.
We've had Matt as our waiter most recently, and he is so knowledgable and fun!

One of the most underrated spots in Austin - fantastic quality, cozy, and not pretentious. Experience dining here is so much better than other better-known Italian places!

I’ve been here 3 times all spaced out about a year. Each time it’s just been worse. Food is just eh and service is slow. Wish I went somewhere else.

68° is a wonderful restaurant in South Austin with unique and flavorful food. The staff is attentive and engaging, offering suggestions and providing details about the food's origins. Matt was our server, and he made the evening very enjoyable. It's has a romantic ambiance without being too formal. Highly recommended!

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. I don’t even live in Texas right now, and I crave chicken parm at least once a week. The food is very well-made, the vibes are right on and the service has been so perfect every single time. You have to try this place!!!
Really good food. Service was a bit slow for a semi busy Thursday evening before 7pm. Parking sucks. Nice dining room. Patio would be great on cooler evenings but we opted for inside because it was hot.
Great flourless chocolate dessert. Great polenta starter. Lamb sausage was a bit gamey but sauce and pasta with it was really good. Mushroom pasta was excellent.
Wine selection was quite good, mostly Italian. For hot weather they could have a few more dry rose's by the glass.
Parking: Tight and limited spaces. If you think you can find a spot at the pool, good luck in the summer. No street parking unless you want to walk from "the rock" under Mopac, and pay to park there.

I had the Clam special today. The Chef has a gift! It was so amazing, and my Server Donna was perfection. Thank you all for a great experience.
