Abu Omar Halal - Austin, TX

I ordered the shawarma sandwich that comes with fries and asked for their pickled salad. Total came to 17.50. Too expensive, skimpy sandwich and the salad is a joke compared to what they used to serve. I used to go to their restaurant in san antonio for many years and loved it but now I'm just disappointed, they have lost their value. :/

I really really miss the pickled vegetable salad they used to make with califlower carrots. I think now they are just cheap.

The prices are EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE compared to other halal food and to food quality, these prices doesn’t exist even in big restaurants, this is a big rip off NOT WORTH

I ordered catering from Abu Omar first time. I had eaten at the food truck many times. They really improved their service quality better. And the taste was really great both the gyro and chicken shawarma. And their menu has improved as well. Many more options added. I wanna try this more often
