This is one of my favorite sport in Austin!! I love their drinks and their food. It’s a cute little date night spot. They have a DJ with house music out in the patio on Thursday nights. Get there early because it gets packed!!!!
First, I LOVED this place before last night. It was probably my favorite. They only had 2 menu items left-the salad was among the worst I ever had. It was arugula with fish sauce dumped on it, and some sweetened squash. The other option had something in it I was allergic to so that wasn't an option. The servers were amazing and the owners are horrible people. They decided to NOT tell the staff they were closing and the staff found out from instagram/the internet the DAY BEFORE they planned to close. What a horrible way to treat the people who are the backbone of your establishment. I Love this place and spent many celebrations there and often cute dates, post yoga tea ect even though I live on the other side of town. I'm so sad this place is closing and also horrified that I supported owners who behave this way and don't take care of their staff and throw them under the bus. Despite this, the staff were amazing last night. My shoe randomly broke last night walking from my car to the door and they got me tape so I could fix it asbest as possible to get home. Staff 100/10 Owners -100/10 -Do better! I wouldn't continue to support local business who think people are so unimportant as to not tell them, let alone help them in securing new employment.

Enjoyed our final service at Ah Sing Den. Was very sad to hear of the rebrand and that we may not see this wonderful staff again.
If you're looking for an epic dining experience with friends or a date, this is it. I would gladly eat here every week. Amazing atmosphere and menu. Will be back soon.

Gorgeous interior, a hidden gem in the tsunami of restaurants and bars!Alyssa was our server and she was fantastic, made our experience a delight! We didn't know it was a restaurant so did not eat much - hard to judge - what we did have was good.

This place is a 0+infinity!!! Avoid this no class roach den at all costs!!! Wannabe a manager-Owner is awful and hates women!! If you are looking for trash, this is your place! ???
I had an amazing time at this place! The drinks were fantastic, and the service was exceptional. The staff was really friendly, and they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they were able to get us a table. The prices were also quite reasonable compared to other bars in Austin. I'm really looking forward to going back there again!

Food was so salty I couldn't finish it. Drinks were good - very strong. Service was friendly and ambiance was cool.
Exceptional service, food and drink quality and ambiance—cannot recommend this gem enough!

One of the worst bar experiences I’ve had. The bartender refused me service, and incredibly rude staff. If you’re in Austin would 100% not go.
My boyfriend and I love visiting Ah Ding Den for great cocktails, appetizers, and the beautiful ambiance. We sat at the bar on Sunday afternoon and Danny was our bartender. He was kind and knew his cocktails! He made us caipirinha's and queen's park swizzle and they were all fabulous! Order the Goat Cheese Rangoons, but not just 1 order, you'll need 2 because they are that good!

Terrible terrible service. Maybe the worst we’ve ever experienced. Not worth the money, hype, nor your time.

I live in Austin and this beyond my worst experience at a bar here.
I was asked if I was pregnant when I was at the bar by a server:
1) I am not pregnant and am not a traditionally fat person.
2) Is Ah Sing Den fat phobic or do they have policies to ask women if they’re pregnant? Either way this is concerning in Texas as a bar that poses itself as inclusive.

Went for an afternoon drink with my gf after work.We took our dog lolly like we do a lot, so on that note you can have dogs in their outdoor seating- downside is that’s only about 4 tables.(We didn’t ask if they could be inside, just assumed it was a no).I got the frozen espresso martini which was really good, probably the best version of this particular frozen cocktail I’ve had in Austin. Mf gf got another menu cocktail (I can’t remember the name of it) but it was pretty and she liked the taste.1 thing that does keep this place a little east side like, they have $3 lone star and $4 modelo. While we enjoyed our drinks my gf got hungry so we ordered the poke nachos and chicken sandwich. Mf gf loved the poke nachos (she’s the seafood person) the “chips” were like that wonton breading type, they were very light and a good snack. The menu says “market price” for these and the day we went that red $25.The chicken sandwich was very good, the flavors of everything meshed well1 it comes with pickled carrots and we put those on the sandwich as well, it also comes with a garlic mayo which is has a strong garlic flavor but I liked it. My only complaint about the sandwich is it was about $14 and you get 3 little slices, I get the aesthetic but for that price I want the whole sandwich. The service is was great, even though we sat outside. I will say sitting outside isn’t the best experience (not at the fault of the establishment) but the road is pretty loud with groups of loud people walking by.I would come back again, for the cocktails for sure- but next time we’ll sit inside
