Shop local!!! Skip the chain restaurants . Keep Austin real. I don't eat red meat very often but when I give in to my craving for steak this is where I go. Honestly, I've never had anything I didn't love at this restaurant. The servers are very professional and the service is great. The drinks are delicious and the martinis are perfect! And absolutely have the stuffed green chilies and the sweet potato clam chowder. This is a place you go to splurge.!

6 people. $1,000 bill. Steaks and food was just okay. Interior is dated. Great staff, but the food was not good. Carrots were literally boiled in water and thrown on the plate - no glaze or seasoning at all. Very disappointed.

ALC is always a wonderful experience. The food and service are top notch. It's a great place to celebrate special occasions or spend a romantic night out with a partner. Kaitlyn waited on our party and she was delightful. She introduced our table to a new red wine that we all loved and we even took pictures of the bottle for future reference. We ordered the pork chop which has a red chile glaze that is delicious. ALC has incredible side dishes--try them all! This place is a stand-out and somewhere we will return to again and again.

Our server, Brian, was a complete professional- prompt service, wasn't intrusive and made suggestions that were spot on and delicious. The steaks were so flavorful and cooked perfectly. We tried a sampler of sauces (ACL sauce in particular) they were so yummy. The cozy and relaxed atmosphere made our conversations easy, temperature of the restaurant was just right. Absolutely no notes. We will return again soon!

The menu is a perfect blend of high-quality steak and fresh seafood. For the main course, you can't go wrong with either the filet mignon or the cod. The steak is cooked to perfection and melts in your mouth, while the Cod so tasty with the rice and asparagus. The wine list is extensive, and the bartender can craft some excellent cocktails to pair with your meal. We were on a tight schedule and they had us in and out in under an hour! Great service.

Fantastic dinner with my daughters and mother in law. Service was fantastic and great recommendations from wait staff. Food delicious and if you want to avoid downtown or chain restaurants this is the place to go.

The crab cake were not that great but the escargot, salads, bread, steaks, lobster and sauces were wonderful! The noise level was okay but we were there early. Overall - yes we will be back!
