We have never had a bad experience at ALC, but last night's meal was exceptionally good. We shared a porterhouse steak and it was so tender and full of flavor! ALC never disappoints!

The only reason ambience was low is that it's very warm inside in the summer. The a/c just cant seem to keep up with afternoon heat, and we had a 745pm reservation. (I was sweating til the sun went completely down. Our waiter left us waiting a bit, too, but they seemed short staffed maybe? He was very courteous and responsive to requests, but we had to flag him down a couple times. The steaks have gone up in price by a good bit but are still consistently the best steaks in...

I debated on writing a review since I've been here multiple times and usually really enjoy the food.

But, tonight was a miss. 3 of the 5 steaks were unusually chewy. Seasoning was still spot on, but my son had to literally pull out a piece of the steak because he started choking and couldn't swallow it. This was the ribeye served medium rare.

We didn't make an issue of it during dinner because the problem wasn't based...
