Not bad as a place but heavy hotel vibes (normal for being in an hotel). Service was good but not excellent… coffee was average. I got an espresso and it was enjoyable but nothing amazing.

I ordered an Iced Matcha Latte with oat milk and vanilla syrup. My first sip was very sweet because the vanilla syrup wasn’t mixed in quite well. I would say that there isn’t a very strong matcha flavor. I mostly just taste the oat milk. I wish they could have maybe a little more of the matcha powder to create a better balance. This drink costed me $7.58, which is a fair price but it would be better if more matcha powder could be used. This drink already has a vibrant green, but I just don’t taste the matcha which is a bit disappointing.

Tucked inside The LINE Hotel, Alfred Coffee feels like a little pocket of calm in the middle of downtown buzz. The vibes are modern yet warm—perfect for a slow morning or a midday pick-me-up. The seating area is stylish and comfy, with big windows that let in plenty of natural light.

During the winter, I sometimes stop here after a run on the trails—especially on cold days—since The LINE has cozy fireplaces and inviting lounge areas. Whether you’re staying at the hotel or just passing through, it’s definitely worth a stop.

I’ve been here a couple of times and had some desserts. They are very delicious! The staff working there are very sweet and friendly. The place is very clean and cozy. I’ll definitely come back to try the coffee.

Had a cortado that was great, drip coffee that was great, but drip the next day tasted like plastic, even in a ceramic cup

Flavorful coffee. Great location and service. A staple in Congress ave

Parking: They void first hour of valet parking. Takes care of the parking hazzle

Wheelchair accessibility: Use the hotel entrance. Totally accessible

Coffee is good but not worth the price and the 20 min wait after you order

Ordered through Uber and the coffee was seriously disgusting. I got the “world famous vanilla latte” and I honestly wonder what world it’s famous in. Maybe I just received a bad batch, but both my coworker and I did not finish the drinks.

Small counter inside hotel. Latte was extremely bitter and line is consistently long, so I assumed that the rush led to less quality products. Baristas were sweet though, so no hate to them. They’re just tasked with serving hotel guests, downtown tourists, and Austin residents all at once. Atmosphere is nice but the lobby can be cramped during the 11am check out rush (plan ahead if you’re coming!)

Tucked away in the Line hotel by the bar area, the small Kiosk is very cute. Great coffee for a really good price comparatively.

Good nitro. Slightly disappointed that they closed before 5, was there at 4:50 and they had closed both doors and said they were now closed. Since I was there during the posted hours, you would expect they would still serve me a coffee.
