first time at amys today and went with my partner. most of the staff was really sweet and friendly except for one gentleman who was a bit harsh and snippy with his responses, and cut me off when i wanted to make a modification to my order. i understand some people have difficult days and i’m not bashing him for being human but it did kind of sour our experience. ice cream was pleasant however.
Every visit to Amy’s Ice Cream has been a great experience thanks to Helen. She is incredibly friendly and welcoming, the kind of person who makes you feel valued as soon as you walk in. What stands out most is her ability to hold down the store solo. Any time I have come in she has been working by herself and never once shows stress or frustration. I found this Ice Cream shop by accident glad I did because the Orange Sorbet & the Mexican Vanilla together was Amazing & the 2 young ladies working Ariel & Jackie displayed Great Customer Service skills They were Awesome, along with being friendly offering great suggestions serving me with a smile they definitely made my very First Experience a real pleasure. I'm definitely coming back when I visit Austin Again.
