We both had burgers and they were good, no issues with the food. But the building- needs to be gutted and redone. The men's room stunk, smelled like urine and like it had not been cleaned in days. In the dining area, numerous ceiling tiles had water damage and what appeared to be back mold on some of them. Had we noticed this when we first sat down, we would have left and gone somewhere else. I'll never go there again until it has been gutted with a total interior makeover.
Parking: Go somewhere else, the building is a dump.

Pasta was over cooked and sauce was too thick. Restrooms need serious updating. Sink not aligned with counter tops. I was in shock! The smell was horrible. Interior needs major updating.
Great waiter. It was a tall male, very friendly, on a Saturday night. Although he was busy and forgot how to of placed our drink orders correctly. Still very polite. Ty.

The place is dirty the ceiling tiles are dirty like leaking water on them . It seemed like the two workers had to wait on customers as well as cook the food. We were going to eat here but had a drink and left . Place needs remodeling and a thorough cleaning.

I ordered a steak combo it came out too small overcooked with a lot of fat was not near close to what was pictured to be look like a hockey puck was very disappointed probably will never ever eat there again

Totally shocked Applebees has their name on this location.
The food and drinks were subpar at best.
Our server was slow and we had to catch her passing by to get service and the bill. This sever was wearing a lanyard with pot leaves and 420 all over it. I don’t care what anyone does but very inappropriate in a work environment.
We ordered 2 drinks and an appetizer plate, food came out wrong the first time. Once we finally notified the server of the mistake it took another 20 minutes to get the correct order :(
The inside is just gross, ceiling tiles missing, mold around in various places on the ceiling.
The bathroom was nasty 🤢 the sink was almost falling off the wall, it stunk in there like mildew and had water standing on the floor. An employee came into the rest room, never washed their hands and headed back to work.
Save yourself and don’t stop here !

This is one nasty place, and I know why. The workers are so dam lazy. We finally got seated, but we were warned ⚠️. The ppl before us walked out because they had been waiting so very long to be seated. We tried them out anyway. This lady seated us, got our drinks which was only water. She stated I'll give y'all a couple of minutes to look over menu. She walked off, and we didn't see her for at least 15 minutes. Yall, by this time, I'm starving, no breakfast, just coffee. She finally showed her face and had the nerve to stop by the bar and chit-chat with her coworkers 🙄. I told my husband and sister no, we're leaving. And you wander why you are not getting any business 😒. Did I mention how slow she was moving! OMG. I give the star to do this post. Cause I had to put something.......

Honestly an unsafe place to eat at midnight. Strange looks from other customers. People at the bar smoking marijuana. Server seemed under the influence and kept forgetting to grab our order, was sitting down and laughing with other customers.

I had left a negative review back on mother's day 2024, I was contacted by the General manager Kim to return to the location whenever convenient to give them another try, I live about an hour away from this location so it wasn't until I think it was December 22nd, 2024 I returned to give it another shot, I was amazed by the improvements in service, cleanness and quality of food on this visit, the host, server/staff all we're very friendly, place was well kept/clean and the food was alot better then I expected from when I had the very bad experience on mother's day.
I am impressed from the change and wanted to delete the previous review and change it to a positive review because of my recent last visit.
Much better experience.

While the food was great. The atmosphere had us feeling the food being good was surprising. It didn't feel like a franchise, it felt like a local bar. Music was not hitting, the bathroom had a smell I have never smelt before. I'm a blue collar worker, I've hit them porta potties and various restrooms. To say the smell in the bathroom was an experience is wild. It leaked out into the lobby. The whole place smelt crappy. But somehow the food came out fantastic
I had thecheeseburger, fries and a drink for $10. It was worth it.

Hello Ms. White,
I'm writing you to discuss my last ever visit to your joke of a restaurant at 6315 S IH-35 Austin, Tx. As a general manager of a restaurant myself i strive to be an accommodating guest when I am out but this was plain just atrocious. As the last few times I have visted this establishment the service and atmosphere is obviously deteriorating as any type of service professional would be able to discern. From the time that I I was sat and having to wait 10 mins for a server to even deign to acknowledge me, let alone the half hour I waited for a simple house margarita or the 45 mins it took to get out half cooked pretzels. My first choice of the prime rib dipper sandwich was 86ed it took the server another 20 mins to get me a burger and even then couldn't be bothered to follow the requests I made at the time of the order, no mayo a side of mustard instead. Do you only have 1 cook working in the back of house that 7 guests at the bar and 4 tables is overwhelming? Like I said I won't be bringing my business here anymore and will make sure to let everyone know to avoid this disgrace of service establishment as much as I possibly can.

Absolutely terrible, abysmal service. Our waitress rarely checked on our table, and we didn’t receive water until quite some time into our visit. There was a significant delay in receiving our food, with rarely an update provided. Now this is a big one - At the end of the meal, the waitress carried our credit cards openly to another table before processing the payment. This felt careless and raised concerns about privacy and security. Get it together.
