My daughter took us to this restaurant because they have halal meat pizza and chicken wings. We were visiting her she is student. She recommended us to sit on their floor sitting arrangement. We paid for our order after few minutes their employee served us with water and our food. We said thanks to him but he didn’t answer. We were sitting and after few minutes a white lady came with her maybe one year old kid. She was sitting in other table. The owner of the restaurant went to her he talked to her after that he came towards us.He asked how old are your kids I told him they are 10 and 13 years old. He said they are not allowed to sit there and he showed us the sign that he had on a small stand. The lights were dim and sign was not really visible. I said oh we didn’t read a sign. My husband asked him why can’t they sit there he said “Because I Don’t Want Them” he said it very rudely. Then he said next time don’t do that and left and the white lady was watching us and smiling. We were so surprised of his that attitude. So some people in Austin are really rude. I told my kids there is no next time. There food isn’t important our respect is important. We will never go back there.

It's a great place to stop by for a friendly and comfortable environment. They have a buffet for lunch, and you can always go for their " lunch specials " to have a healthy vegie or non-vegie plate. The kebabs are the "my to go" with the salad on the side. However, the rice is soft, and if you are not eating a lot, you can just pass it.

Arpeggio Grill is tucked away spot but a place that knows your order, and that you like your Mediterranean with zero frills and all the flavor.
Every time I walk in, it feels like I’m reconnecting with an old friend—one who just happens to make amazing gyros. Not a trendy spot, no belly dancing or dim lighting here, just a place where the vibe is easygoing and the service is friendly. And that’s the charm.
When I need my Mediterranean fix, their gyros are my go-to. They’re ridiculously good, the tea is spot-on, and they even do a mini pistachio pastry that punches well above its weight class.
For fairness, here’s the “flip side” (or what passes for one): Arpeggio isn’t shy about authenticity, so you might find that gyro doesn’t have the usual Americanized toppings. Just ask about the dish if you like your ingredients predictable.
And if your car sits a little low, consider skipping the Airport Blvd entrance unless you want a thrilling undercarriage scrape. Take the Huntland side street instead.
A quick tip for late arrivals—these folks start winding it down about 15 minutes before closing, so if you’re rolling in that last half-hour, it might be best to grab it to go. Saves everyone a rush, and you’ll still get all that goodness.
All in all, Arpeggio’s is a comfortable, unpretentious gem with wallet-friendly prices and fresh flavors. I’ll be back for those gyros as long as they keep ‘em rolling. And who knows? Maybe I’ll even try out the patio next time, or snag one of those floor tables.
