If you haven't been here, you will regret not knowing about this place earlier. Everything is delicious and truely authentic.

Do NOT come here if you're a POC. The Italian owner is a bigot and will discriminate against any immigrant families dining in. I overheard heard him from the kitchen saying "they're the worst kind of people," when referring to a family that had walked in. I even witnessed him loudly shouting at his staff, every word clearly audible, as if they were some group of children. The food was fine but ridiculously salty. There are no fresh desserts, and the food should require some warning for high sodium. Overhearing the shouting at staff made me genuinely sick to my stomach and gave me a full loss of appetite. Never in my life have I seen a more unprofessional owner, treating both customers and staff so disturbingly. If I could, I would give 5 stars to the hard working line cooks for what they endure. Artipasta? No. Fartipasta. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone living in Austin/touring.

Food wasn’t great for the price. Definitely tasted like it was in the microwave or something. Expensive for a small amount. Neither me and my friend were satisfied.

I was not a fan of the gnocchi but it could be personal preference. The tomato sauce was good though! My favorite was the maccheroni with creamy sausage and mushroom! The spaghetti with clams was good but probably will not order again, overall you can taste the handmade pasta and quality of the ingredients and the food was made with care. Definitely worth a try if you are looking for some pasta.

Yummy casual Italian spot! The space inside is quite small but has 8 small tables or so. You order at the counter and receive a number. The food itself was well portioned and tasty. A little more on the al dente side than I prefer though. My critique is that the atmosphere definitely threw me off because the experience wasn't quite consistent across the board - it was like high-end pasta served in a casual joint. The nice pasta just didn't seem like it belonged on a plastic checkered tablecloth. They served breadstick crackers in individual bags (the kind you can find in stores). I would like to see this be more of an actual restaurant with the full service experience. But that could be the appeal too, as I also noticed a lot of people were picking up orders to-go. If they wanted to go all-out on the casual side, they should add a self dispensing water machine and a to-go station to pack your leftovers.

We stopped in to eat one evening. It's a very small restaurant and we drove by it initially. They do a bustling to-go business and the dining area is very basic. But the pasta is perfect and the sauces are fantastic. If you're looking for great pasta, this is your place. If you're looking to be dazzled by trendy decor, this isn't it.

Very authentic tiny Italian nook. I was staying at the Holiday Inn nearby for the UIL Texas 6A Swimming & Diving Championships. I overslept and missed my ride to dinner, so I just walked around to see what I could find and followed Google Maps to this place. The atmosphere is very simple but clean. The Italian gentleman who greeted me at the door was very friendly and helpful. The big picture menu when I walked in was particularly helpful in choosing something that wasn’t TOO basic.I settled on the tagliatelle with ham and peas.It came out in probably 5-7 minutes (pictured.) The Sanpellegrino Lemonata and bottled water pushed my bill to $21.The pasta was al dente - which tastes undercooked to most American palates, but since I have been to Italy a couple times I knew this meant it was the real deal.It was delicious and I ate every bite. There weren’t explosions of flavor in my mouth that I found surprising and exciting (and maybe there was a tiny bit too much sauce) - which is why I didn’t give it a 5 - but it is totally solid. Also, while the restaurant was supposed to close at 9 (and I was the only customer there when I walked in around 8:15pm,) they didn’t turn away the 3 tables that walked in at 8:45-8:50pm.If you are looking for some great pasta without too much fuss at a reasonable price, this is a great option.

Food was great especially the gnocchi, although many of the items on the menu were unavailable. The service has plenty of room for improvement, I asked for carbonara and the cashier proceeded to explain how authentic it is and different to what I’ve had before (even though I’ve ate it plenty of times in Italy) and it ended up being unavailable!

If you are looking for authentic Italian pasta and a friendly atmosphere, I recommend Artipasta. If you’re looking for free breadsticks and salad , go to the Olive Garden.

I was so excited to try this place, but I was dissatisfied. It is very unsanitary and just gross! You have to wait for an empty table and get it yourself. Then the table has the previous customers dirty dishes!! Uncleaned!! You have to wait up to 20 min for them to come clean the table, how is this not a health code issue?? Also after waiting for them to clean your dirty table you have to walk up to the counter to order. I left without eating bc I refuse to eat at a dirty establishment. Pass!
