I was in court down the street and stopped by this place during lunch break to eat. Its PERFECT if you have business at the courthouse and have to get a quick bite to eat. The quesadillas were perfect. Wait time around 1230 wasnt too long either.

I wandered into Arturo’s Underground Café on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. Their Croque Monsieur was rich and buttery, with a perfect crisp on the outside, and the Mushroom & Gruyère quiche was creamy and satisfying. Their house salad with shaved veggies and tangy vinaigrette was a refreshing balance.
The space has an artsy, cozy underground vibe — low ceilings, warm light, eclectic decor — which makes it feel like a hidden gem. The barista and servers were friendly and patient (I asked too many questions), and the coffee was strong and nicely brewed. I’ll be back to try their French onion soup and see what dessert specials they’ve got.

Mentioned in my review of the Hilton Garden Inn accross the street. Just did not need the internet to try out. Really good food, great service and delightful site. We return to Austin and we will return to Arturo's.
The is a small cafe with excellent food and fantastic service. A very minor error was made in our order and the staff went far above and beyond to fix the problem. We ordered a sandwich and added an ingredient. When I told them our added ingredient was missing I would have been happy for them to just throw it on the plate with the sandwich. They made an entirely new sandwich to the correct specifications and refunded the entire meal not just the sandwich. We were floored as we had done nothing to deserve that kind of kindness from the universe or anyone at Arturo's, this was just how they treated us off the street. I will definitely be back because of the food and the incredible people that work there.
Highly recommend the grilled cheese with avocado and bacon! The chicken, bacon, and jalapeno ranch Quesadilla was existential. The young man with the purple beard is a gem and full of great recommendations and asks all the right questions to help you get the perfect thing on their menu.
The vibes: it's cute and reminds me of the cafe from the Extremely Goofy Movie.

A mini Gem!!! Loved finding this place- feels like being transported to Amsterdam all of a sudden. Food was ok, nothing special but the vibe was all worth it. Coming back many many more times mayeb I’ll try different foods and find their best ones!

It has a great vibe. Great music playing. The coffee is amazing. I ordered the Carmel iced latte. The downstairs has plenty of seating. And has a separate setting for more of a personal area.

Very good sandwich. Friendly service, different but interesting place. Affordable, clean and the very attractive people working there. The only downside is the waiting time. You have to wait outside because space is very limited. We parked in the parking garage and walked a block to get there.
