We had lunch here after more than a few months, and were pleasantly surprised by the new decor, ambience, music, food, and service. They have redone the interior and have rehashed their menu, which has selections from both north and South Indian cuisines.The food was not overly spicy, yet delicious. Their lunch special Thalis are good for more than a meal, with saag paneer, naan a dish of your choice and a surprise vegetable selection of the day. The dosa came with gunpowder and ghee along with the usual Sambhar and chutneys. All in all, we had a great experience, including the ambience and quality of service.Would highly recommend the place if you haven’t been here in a while.

I recently visited this restaurant with a tight schedule, arriving close to their closing time. However, I had called them 45 minutes prior to ask if they could accommodate us, and they kindly agreed. Despite the late hour, the staff warmly accommodated us and even kept the kitchen open. Their kindness and dedication ensured we enjoyed a delightful meal, including flavorful dishes like veg pakora, cheese chilli naan, kulcha, panned tikka masala, and veg tikka masala. Throughout our dining experience, the team consistently checked on us, enhancing the overall satisfaction. It was truly a great experience dining at this establishment, and I highly recommend it for both the delicious food and exceptional service.

Asiana in Austin ¹consistantly serves excellent Indian fare! And the combination platter graciously suggested by Anna, our server, was exactly what the doctor ordered! As usual, the vegetables were cooked to a turn, the naan bread was hot and fresh, the Sang Paneer is THE best in the city and the goat and lamb Korma offerings are unparalleled. As a long time patron, my only regret is that their legendary buffet is no longer available to enlighten all to their wonderful dishes!

I ordered the lamb curry. The lamb had no flavor to it and left a disgusting after taste. The curry was runny full of oil. Not sure if this was old but this will be their last time pulling something like this on me because it wasn’t the first.Ordered garlic nan and was disappointed with that as well. Very hard and tasted nothing like garlic.I use to frequent this restaurant often before the pandemic & it’s very sad to see the direction the food has gone.Added the photo of the food as proof that I ate here when leaving this review.

I did my catering from here for my college’s cultural festival and the food was very delicious. Biryani was very yummy and the chicken lollipops were very flavorful.All of my friends and professors loved the food. My favorite Indian restaurant got even better! Love the new remodel. The return of the dosa! Amazing malai kofta and Saag lamb. Goat and more. The garlic naan, I could eat it all day. Generous portions of everything and super helpful staff. Some of our party hadn't been there and had questions and the waitress was awesome. Love Asiana.
