I stay at the Spring Hill Suites next door to the ATX Olive Company every few months when I am here for work. A stop at ATX is a must for me every time. The food is really good, but the service and people are really what really brings me back every time. They make you feel right at home, when you're hundreds of miles away from home. Plus they have really good desserts which is a plus. You can tell this restaurant and bar is being ran well.

I stayed in the Austin Marriott South over the weekend and came to the bar for the evening. Staff members Dillon and Kevin made my night very pleasant. They were quick to see if I needed anything and were incredibly friendly! Their service was exceptional and enhanced my stay.

Breakfast was ok for the price. Loved the eggs. However, the potatoes looks amazingly delicious, but it was the complete opposite. There was literally NO flavor. No hint of anything. Salt and pepper didn't save it.

The ATX Olive Company is a restaurant that works inside The Marriot Hotel, at 4415 S I-35 Frontage Rd, Austin, USA.
This place offers a mix of Tex-Mex and Italian food with a good balance of flavor and texture, resulting in an interesting and delicious variety of foods.
When I went there, on April 26, I along with my son, and his wife tasted the delicious Gnocetti Sardi with shrimp, The Rigatoni Brisket Ragu, the Classic Alfredo, and, of course, a Simple Cheese pizza, all totally delicious.
By the end, I have to say how comfortable this place is, with pool tables and a complete bar. I recommend it!

EXCELLENT FOOD. Crispy Polenta and Rigatoni Brisket Ragu were AMAZING. Fabulous service.
Went for a solo night out. The ambiance was amazing, food was amazing. It wasn't over crowded and the staff was friendly, amazing and welcoming.
Our first waitress Monica was so sweet and quick! She was a 10. Out second waitress was nice as well. I ate there everyday for 3 days while at the Mariot. The salmon was the best I've ever had. 2nd day I got gluten free pasta with shrimp is was HORRIBLE! 3rd day I got chicken is was like rubber not good at all they re did it for me and it was just as bad.
We stayed at the Marriot for a whole month and only decided to eat here on our last night because we've had trauma with hotel restaurants.
NOT THIS ONE! We regret only eating here the last time! Limonchello tres leches was divine! The prime rib was cooked to perfection!
It is a hotel bar. The food was absolutely the worst Italian food I've ever eaten in my life.

I ordered salmon and broccoli very disappointing for the price you pay. Poor service not people friendly or welcoming. I won't recommend this place to anyone

Nice place and bar with the pool tables and plenty of TV's. However the service and food is lacking. While the servers/bartenders were very friendly, as the night goes on they get distracted with cleaning or other chores instead of checking on whether I need another beer. The polenta and rigatoni were great but the smoked pork ribeye was frankly inedible. It was so unbelievably tough I couldn't cut it and eat it. It had been overcooked so far that unfortunately i could only eat a few parts without accidentally stabbing myself trying to cut through it. The presentation was nice though. Price seems fair, and nice atmosphere but the food needs attention and maybe tell the staff to concentrate on their customers until they truly have extra time for chores.
Edit: forgot to add that the "seasonal brew" was non-existent and one of the beers was incorrectly labeled as from another brewery.

While the restaurant is nice and the staff friendly, I hate to say it but the food is beyond plain. The amount of food you receive.....miniscule.
As good as it all looks it is incredibly bland. It is overpriced as well.

My wife, and friend and I ate here last August based on the recommendation of the front desk clerk at the Springfield Suites where we were staying.
We had a very enjoyable meal at a mid range price.
The service was good, although a little slow in coming to check on drinks while we were eating.
It has a very modern, cool atmosphere with sports on tv's around the restaurant. It has a large bar area as well.
I had the Prawn Scampi and my wife and friend had pizzas and we all thought our meals were good.
Next time we are in the Austin area we would definitely eat dinner there again.
