This place is 20 minutes outside of austin in a strip mall with a five below, where do they get off charging 7.50 for a cheese danish

Just super low quality food. Food tastes like it is from Costco. Felt bad all day after eating it.

the girl working at the register really wasn’t friendly. They boy running the food was pretty nice and the food was okay. A bit overpriced for the portion sizes. The matcha I ordered was good but overall I’m not sure if I’d come back.

I LOVE this family owned business, because it is so community minded (and delicious). The staff are friendly & helpful; the pastries, teas & sandwiches are yummy; and we especially enjoy the outside patio. This weekend, they even let the adorable local Girl Scouts set up a cookie booth out front, illustrating their commitment to being a community establishment; not just an establishment in our community. PS: Try the BLT -it's soooo good!

I love everything about this place! If you haven't been go!** Update to original post! The Austin Tea Exchange is better than ever!!! They welcome pets on the patio (which has always been the case.) The food is fantastic, the team goes above and beyond and the best part...they support our local community groups. They had the Girl Scout Daisy group selling cookies in front of their restaurant today. They didn't have to do it since they sell pastries inside. The Daisies were happy, the store was happy and I bought a lot of cookies!! Definitely visit again and again. This is a business based in heart!!

Just stopped here for a breakfast sandwich and latte - both were delicious. Customer service was great and I love that they support our local Girl Scouts.

Love coming to this wonderful locally owned cafe. The Chai Lattes are amazing and so is their selections of pastries and entrees! I especially love the fact that they love their community and give back. They love so many groups from teachers to Girl Scouts! Come on down and try out the delicious and fresh menu! Then come back and try something else new. You will not leave disappointed. Thanks for the great service each and every time my family goes here.

I have been going to Austin Tea Xchange since they opened. This is a great place to grab a horse or cold cup of tea and catch up with friends. It’s a cute spot to take my littles - they love the yogurt creations! I often times find myself coming here to escape the office and get some work done without the heavy overwhelming smell of coffee like some cafes. My go-to meal is the Avocado Toast with Smoked Salmon. My husband loves the grain bowls and of course all the teas!I love how this place is always looking for ways to give back to the community and the support they offer our young workers which is hard to find! Please support local!
