This is a great neighborhood gem. We’ve been coming here for years. They just had a brand new Makeover. Amazing margaritas, amazing staff, and to top it off, they have mariachi bands come on the weekends. These pictures were taken on Halloween so don’t let the emptiness for you. A definite 10 out of 10 recommendation from a local Austinite 🫶🏼🍹

Ideal Mexican treasure who's kitchen can turn out interior or TexMex with equal aplomb and taste sensation success. Customer service is great and friendly. This place is an unassuming gem in the middle of a strip mall. Go early, go often. We do, and will continue to do so!

The tacos tasted worse than homemade ones, and the enchilada plate had a strange aftertaste. For the price, it was way too expensive for what you actually get. The food was overall disappointing. The only positive was the salsa. It was actually good. Other than that, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for quality Mexican food.

Ordered soft tacos as takeout. Bland tacos served with bland chicken and served with no salsas. No fork etc served with the takeout so couldn’t eat the rice or beans.

The frozen margaritas are simply unbelievable, and their happy hour is a must-try. If you’re in town, you must come by for lunch or dinner. The food is phenomenal and the aromas create a delightful atmosphere. Cathy and Deisy are amazing bartenders definitely makes the best drinks at Tequila Azul! I appreciate you Cathy!
