We visited on a quiet Sunday afternoon. We only had chips salsa, gaucomole and drinks. The drinks Mexican Martini and Frozem Margaritas were excellent. The salsa hit just right!

Azul Tequila is great as a neighborhood dining option. I do recommend dining in, as the food is just better without the drive time. They often have live music out back on the patio.

The whines of motorcycles ripping down 2222 slowly fade as you suck down a second avocado margarita and polish off a plate of (individually spread!) nachos on the Azul patio. XOXO

We went when it was dead and sat outside on the patio. It looks like a really nice place, and I'm sure it gets busy. They have an outdoor stage and two indoor seating areas. The food was excellent, and the service was as well. I will probably be back again soon.

We drove into Austin to try something new to us. We love Mexican food and trying different places. The menu is very appealing and was difficult to pick something. Wife went with tinga sopes and I went with grilled chicken with chipotle sauce. Mine was delicious except for the beans, they were a little dry. Tinga was very dry. Seemed like it was old. Wife had to smother the hot sauce on it. Almost sent it back but didn't want to wait. It was a Friday so food should have been fresh. Waiter was great. Oh the margaritas were good too.

My initial visit to this restaurant left such a positive impression that I couldn't resist returning the following week! The service is not only friendly but also impressively swift and attentive to cleanliness. As soon as I sat down, a delightful serving of chips and salsa appeared on my table, and my drinks were promptly delivered. The food was not only delicious but also served in generous portions. Nestled discreetly just off the charming FM2222, I highly recommend taking a seat on their inviting patio for an even more enjoyable dining experience! Must try the Heavy Blue Margarita on the rocks!
