Baby Acalpucos is one of those places that just does it right. I came in hungry and left happy. The food tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and everything came out hot and fast.

I ordered carne asada tacos, a chicken quesadilla, and a side of rice and beans. The tacos were packed, the meat was seasoned well, and the tortillas were soft and fresh. The salsa had real flavor and a solid kick without being over-the-top. The quesadilla was crispy on the outside, melty inside, and not greasy.

Service was friendly and quick even with people coming in and out. The place was clean and had a relaxed vibe that makes it easy to stay and eat instead of rushing out.

If you want a reliable Mexican spot you can keep coming back to, Baby Acalpucos is it. I’m definitely returning.

I went on Saturday for my birthday and Paola was the best server i’ve had. She make my night we eat the combo fajitas and are really good! The place was full for the UT students but she díd a great job! Just be careful with the parking cause 7/11 has rules and please, please try the purple Rita!

Refused to give us a split check for a 4 person party. Drinks are overpriced and food is just not good. Took me 20 minutes to get my water refilled after I asked. If you want good service or good food, please do not come here.

Come here and enjoy the vibes and the drinks and the food. Don’t let this Austin gem go the way of the rest (RIP Barton Springs)!

Absolutely delicious! From the moment we walked in, the service at Baby A's was outstanding, we were greeted immediately and our drinks arrived fast. We ordered the taco plate and the Enchilada Verde, and both were big on portion size and even bigger on flavor. The authentic food and atmosphere made for a perfect meal. I wish there was one closer to home!

Food was good, not proportional to pricing though. Servers were attentive.

A nice local spot for a bit to eat, or better yet, some good drinks. Try the Famous Purple Margarita to get started then explore the food. Never too busy to require a reservation, but it can get busy during happy hour.

Really great staff! Sorry to see the Barton Springs location close recently :)

The Mexican martinis use to be the thing, well not here at Baby A’s. Manager has no ppl skills, food was ok, my waitress was so nice and friendly.
