Baguette House and Cafe is my go-to when I’m craving a fresh, flavorful Vietnamese bánh mì. The baguettes are perfectly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and generously filled with fresh vegetables, herbs, and well-seasoned meats. My favorite is the beef which is savory, and just the right amount of sweetness.

The service is quick and efficient, making it great for a lunch break or a grab-and-go snack. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and portions are filling without being heavy. The space itself is casual and straightforward — not fancy, but clean and welcoming.

A nice little Vietnamese Bánh mì Caffe, I think I already visited their Caffe 3 times already. To me shrimp Bánh mì is the best. Also love their coconut & pandan jello.

Come here a lot after getting groceries at MT, love the employees and food. Look forward to this place everytime I go grocery shopping. I recommend the pork vermicelli and Vietnamese coffee. Bánh Mì is also to die for.

Who hurt the girl at the register? She’s like the April Ludgate of banh mi sandwiches.

I’ll give them this, from the moment I swiped my credit card payment, my banh mi and coffee was handed to me in under a minute.
With that being said, that tells me they don’t make it to order.
The cafe sua da was probably one of the worst ones I’ve ever had, and I’ve had more than plenty in my lifetime.
The banh mi was below average.
the bread is very thin and long, like a breadstick, not like the fluffy crusty French baguette style you’d normally get.
I’d compare it to Ba Le bakery (from the east coast), it’s good, but seems to cater more to tourists and not Vietnamese people.

$12 for a special and iced coffee

Best Banh Mi in town imo. It's the baguette bread that really shines and the prices are great. Prices have subtly increased over the reason but the changes are not unreasonable. I also enjoy their spring rolls, hainanese chicken rice, and drinks. My usual order is the #1 House Combination special with extra mayo and jalapenos. The ingredients they use in house are also available for purchase such as their mayo and house pickles. Friendly and fast service. Love!

Great sandwiches at absolutely reasonable prices, and fresh baguettes to boot! I make an excuse to head over here any time I’m anywhere near Austin.

Decided to try this place on a whim after seeing the star rating. Ended up tossing the house special and roast pork bahn mi's. The vegetables were fresh but the mayo and meats/ pate tasted like they were sitting in the fridge all day and absorbed a fish taste. We could only take one bite and were so disappointed with the taste and frankly it was gross. We have had other bahn mi's before that did it taste like this. The Vietnamese coffee was off as well- very bitter, and I love a strong black coffee. It tasted like the amount of coffee concentrate was not measured right. The Thai iced tea was good. Maybe we ordered the wrong items but will not be going back and wasted $30.

There are three restaurants that serve banh mi sandwiches. Baguette House uses the best parts. Higher quality pork, namely. I don't care much for the other two restaurants. Baguette House has friendlier employees.
