Super disappointing experience as a returning custom cupcake customer. They cancelled my custom 20-piece cupcake order the day before my daughter’s bday party due to not having a credit card on file, very much to my surprise. I promptly called the instant the email hit my inbox, card in hand ready to pay in full but they refused my business, offered no useful recourse (just apologized and offered to do it 3 days after my event). I offered to simplify the design, I was willing to pay cash, I begged. I asked to speak to the manager and of course was told the person I was speaking to who had no useful solution and was completely inflexible was the manager.
In addition, I initiated the order 5 days prior to the event and had extensive communications with Amy’s over email on design, flavors, etc. no one asked for payment info, shared payment policy, or notified me that my order was in jeopardy of cancellation. I was only asked to “call at my earliest convenience to finalize”. And the day I did call, they left the bakery early (I called at 1:30, they close at 2). they tried me once the following day but I was working and unable to answer.
So, in the end, with only 24 hours I was unable to place a custom order anywhere. My daughter asked why Amy’s made her brother’s dragon cupcakes but they won’t do her unicorn ones :( I will never use Amy’s again and would never recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely impressed! I had a rush order for a surprise 50th birthday party for my partner. Not only was the response quick, but the customer service was wonderful. And THE CAKE WAS PERFECT! Everyone was fighting over who got to take the rest of the cake home. Truly one of the best cakes I have had. Thank you to the wonderful staff and bakers who made the day so special!

Kinda mixed about my experience because I was happy that they were willing to take on my request for a custom Boston Cream Pie (although it's really a cake.) For a $30, 6" cake, it's not bad and it certainly looked great! The taste was a bit disappointing though since I got back from Boston a week before making this request. The sponge cake wasn't moist and airy and it was quite dry and dense. The pastry cream layer was super thin and I thought they could've used a bit more. On the other hand, they used a bit more white icing than I expected which made it a bit of a chore to get through. The chocolate ganache was good though, wasn't quite shiny but I'm taking what I can get.I'm still really grateful they were able to make the Boston Cream Pie but it' still not as great as what I got at Omni Parker or even Flour Bakery + Cafe. I won't order a Boston Cream Pie again BUT they still do great cupcakes and would get cupcakes from Baked by Amy's.

I've been eating their Pecan Bars (by way of Taco Deli) for at least a year for my treat. I consider myself a pecan pie & in general a pecan treat expert and for my estimation this is the best pecan dessert ever. Keep up the good work!

They have made the pies for my holidays, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.They have made every cake for my family since we moved to this beautiful city 5 years ago.The cake designs have gotten complicated as my son gets older, but Amy's has been able to preserve the delicious flavor and have done all the crazy designs we've asked for.

Placed our order and signed the “contract” in August. When the wedding day arrived, end of December, I called to see when I could pick up the cake. They did not make it. They tried to cover their tracks by making it really fast. When we picked it up, it was still warm and they said to keep it in the fridge for a couple of hours. We were on our way to the event! In the car, all the layers shifted and it stuck to the side of the box. What a mess. I will make sure to steer our friends and family away. Beware, they should stick to ice cream - and I will not be buying that in the future either. Way to ruin our big day and loose some customers.

All baked goods are custom orders, this is not a bakery which you can just stop by and pick up a few baked goods. Misleading page/pictures, wasted drive.
