Thus was a great place to chill. But it will be closing in two weeks. Sad will miss it. Especially it's Tuesday comedy show.

I love to go here for their Fish and chips. I always add shrimp. I get the half order of fish. It is excellent. The bartender is very prompt and nice.

I didn't try the food. It was my first visit. I spent most of my time on the patio. I really like the patio. The regulars were hilarious.

We walked in around 1:00 and sat at the nice u-shaped bar. 5 customers on 1 side 2 on the other. Bartender was slow to acknowledge us, no greeting, no smile, nothing..., took our drink order, my cocktail was good. Took a while for her to take our food order, I don't believe she even asked us if we wanted to order, just stood in front of us looking at us like we were a bother. Food came promptly and The fish and chips were phenomenal! Burger was good. We we're visiting Austin and the surrounding area and this was the 1st establishment out of at least 10 that we were treated lousy. The rest of Austin are the nicest, friendliest most welcoming people.

I wanted to thank the manager for allowing me to use some gift cards for lunch and 2 pints of Guinness. I did not know if the gift cards had any money on them and he allowed me to use them anyway. That was greatly appreciated.
Why is this Pub not more well known? I went here for a company event and am upset that I didn't know it existed.
