The food at Lorraine was good but I also had a bad experience with the manager. The rest of the employees there were amazing and kind, it was just the manager Olive (red hair). I kindly asked for another side or any alternative because the potatoes I had tasted raw. Again, this may just have been and unfortunate coincidence with my food which happens, but I hoped a suitable resolution could’ve been made. I kindly asked for a substitute or if it could be recooked but Olive just answered with “that’s just how they’re made” followed by “if you want to get something else you can order”. I didn’t understand the hostility I received from Olive and it was disappointing especially because I was asking kindly.
Other than that, the food was great, service was fast, but it was unfortunate interaction.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Manager with red hair was extremely rude, unprofessional and threatened a minor. If the owner of the business could provide their email, i’d be happy to give more details on what transpired.

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had.
The staff’s attitude toward customers was outright disrespectful, but the real problem is the manager, whose behavior was shockingly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Instead of addressing concerns or showing any basic courtesy, she spoke down to us and made the situation unnecessarily unpleasant.

A café should make customers feel welcome here, we were treated like a nuisance. There was no accountability, no attempt to fix the issue, and absolutely no respect.
I will not be returning, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place.

Was excited to try a new bakery and was super disappointed with the pastries and customer service. Let’s just say the homeless guy on the way home got some overpriced baked goods.

Love this place but they run out of pastries hours before they close. I’m glad none go to waste, but if I come after 11/12 my options are almost nothing.

This was the most disappointing lunch I have had in a while. The staff had no idea about any of the menu items and the food was subpar. Not sure how you mess up tomato soup and a grilled ham and Brie but they did.

We visited this location today and had a disappointing experience with a manager named Logan. When I tried to pay with cash, she examined my $20 bills and then refused to accept them, offering no clear explanation. After that, she declined to provide service, even when I gave her my Amex, which made us feel singled out and uncomfortable. Regardless of the reason, no customer should be left feeling this way. I hope the store addresses this and improves its customer service.

My favorite place in the Domain! Fast-casual counter-ordering service that brings fresh food to your table. Great for meeting with family or friends, or for working solo thanks to the coveted ledge seating with a perfect window view of the Rock Rose street walkers. There’s also plenty of indoor and outdoor covered seating. Their coffee is fantastic with tons of options, they offer wine & glass-bottled sodas, a variety of delectable pastries, and a seasonal menu full of fresh, real food.

My only hope is that you’re here while they’re serving either the Turkish eggs or the Cuban sandwich — both go absolutely crazy. They’re the kind of meals you dream about long after you’ve finished them. I always opt into swapping the chips for the roasted potatoes and grab the hot sauce at the self-service station ;)

Taste is okay. The price is just right. The ambiance is alright. Just a decent meal in a busy area.

At breakfast today, my daughter had the excellent quiche and I had eggs and coffee. Because they are understaffed, the table was not ready for a while. And the chairs and under the table there was a mess. The person who cleaned didn’t seem to care. Fix this right away. No point in our returning if you can’t keep your place clean.
