The food is AMAZING, never had a bad meal here. The service is usually very good, this time they sat our group of 5 at a table for 4. They did say it was their only table open so I understand but our party would’ve happily waited longer for a larger table. Still a great place for a great family style meal.

The service here is not great and the food is pretty awful. The soup tastes like Campbell's straight out of the can. The egg rolls resemble frozen ones you would buy at Walmart. The rice was a sticky paste. The only thing that was edible was the General Tso's Chicken and it was decent at best. Bamboo House = Panda Express

Chef special A1!! It’s spicy and citrusy! Everything is so good! The wonton soup is a shareable bowl or a meal all by itself!

Pretty disappointing food. Got the boiled fish, crispy spicy chicken, Peking duck, lobster noodles over a couple visits. All mediocre. There are much better options for authentic Chinese food in Austin.

I came here for Beijing duck, but the waiter told me we have three people so we can only get Half of duck, in this case we have to order some other dishes. We ordered Steamed Pork with Rice Flour, the color is very dark and tastes bad. The waiter suggested they have very fresh vegetable called fried water spinach, it is not fresh at all and taste like dry grass old and hard. The duck came with only a few of pancake, each pancake was wrapped by a piece of paper, make it looks a lot but you only get just a little bit pancake. The only OK dish is the egg plant, but it was delayed, we were almost finished eating. The overall experience is very bad!

The duck is among the best in the area. They serve it so well with the pancakes. They provide all the fixings that you would need to create the perfect duck wrap. The skin is also very crispy which adds to the texture of the dish. Highly recommend getting to doc. The other food is also very good, however the duck is the star.

Most authentic and tasteful Asian cuisine I've ever had. Hands down. FYI ...the portions are giant!!! So worth it!! You can share one plate with 3 people. The appetizers are literally the size of an entrée and so so good. I cannot express how fresh and tasty it all is. No complaints at all.

The orange chicken is absolutely delicious, but the service lacks. Our waiter only came by when we waved him down.

The orange chicken wasn’t actually chicken—it was mostly fried batter with no real protein. The rice was good, but not amazing. The pork belly was definitely our favorite dish. I think I’d be willing to give this place a second chance. The service wasn’t great—the waiter didn’t seem to know much about the menu and couldn’t really offer us any recommendations.

Bamboo House Austin is one of my favorite places to go to.

When they first opened this location and advertised the Peking duck I about jumped out of my shoes.

Starting off we ordered the appetizer cream cheese wontons.

The wontons were so crispy and so large. It looks like they utilize the egg roll wrappers. Stuffed very much full and the sweet and sour sauce was delicious.

The specialty here is the Peking duck and we get a half order to share between us. You cannot get a full order unless you have three or more people.

You're giving an array of different sauces, sugar, different greens and the whole setup is just a beautiful presentation.

There will be a long wait because this place is so popular and the peaking duck can run out. So if you're worried about that, give a call later in the day more often it's going to be possibly sold out.

I definitely recommend stopping by and giving this place a try

Got there at 8:30PM, server pretty much rushed us out our food and rushed us to pay. My parents tipped a good amount and he came back asking for more tip and said it’s culture. I thought that was very rude and my parents are asian too and much older. After asking for more tip, server was nowhere to be found and we had to get our own togo boxes.

Friendly and attentive staff, awesome experience with my students. The food was amazing!!! They even had us try their new crispy spicy chicken. But their sesame chicken is the best I've ever had!
