Everything tasted good. Peking duck was phenomenal. Chickens& chili sauce and couples beef slices were delicious. Peashoots and duck soup was also delicious.Half the food was fantastic, the other half was just good, hence the 4stars on food, but the price was also incredible.Insane amount of food for less then $200

Decent food given the sorry state of Chinese food scene in Austin. Not inexpensive but good serving size and above average presentation.

I came by at lunch and was actually nervous about there being a long line but on Thurs there was no line today yea!!! I got the duck fairly quickly and it comes with so much food. They gave me like a soup enough too feed a whole family!! I also had order the spring roll pork and wonton were all very good!! I felt this food was even better than what I had in China when I was on a trip!!Many places say they are famous or the best but this really was the most fresh and good duck I've maybe ever had!! I'll be coming again i want to try the spicy chicken!!

Was worried about being ‘under dressed’ from the outside, inside was a different story. Inside seemed a lot more casual if you will. Kids area had a few video games and a bunch of scattered game pieces everywhere. We decided to get the order to go, inside seemed a little dated? (Christmas deco still up). Cashier/waiter seemed more interested in his phone than taking the order. Lots of things just seem thrown around? Including an empty large water tank. Food was large for a good price (no sides only full orders). $13 for an order of FRIED rice and chicken.. could not have been more disappointed. Rice is basic white rice with absolutely no flavor. Was hoping the soy would help but it only made it edible. Chicken taste like weird rubber sautéed on some oil. Last photo is to show how much actually got ate between 3 people. Outside was dirty and everything was thrown around like a storm had just went through.Decided not to try anything else today. Maybe I’ll try again next time!

So I'm giving this four stars but this is not my preferred style of Chinese food. I always order the fried rice as a sort of litmus test. The fried rice at Bamboo House is not fried but it is also Not soggy. There is no "wok hei" in this dish. It is also under seasoned but chili oil and soy sauce fix that. Same with the egg drop soup. Cashew chicken was killer.

A good Chinese restaurant in Austin, with good taste but not too heavy.Peking duck is the signature dish, and the roast duck comes with duck soup. The roasted duck skin and meat are connected together and served with sweet bean sauce, sugar, cucumber, and green onions. Although it is not the most delicious I have ever tasted, it is already very good in Austin!Recommend the beef with sauerkraut, boiled fish, chicken with saliva, and three delicacies, they are all very delicious with rice. The portion of Mapo Tofu is quite large, and the overall taste is quite numb, not very spicy, and goes well with rice. The chicken fried rice is quite average, with a light taste and is more suitable as a side dish.Overall, the experience is good, and the store staff are also very enthusiastic.

The food was delicious, as my wife said it was similar to what she had eaten in China. There is also a gaming area for guests to entertain while waiting for a table. The problem is that the staff looks quite uncomfortable, they almost don't smile at the customers.Parking: There is parking but not muchWheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is located in the area of 1 building and has wheelchair access.
