I was expecting the Grill beef Banh Mi on a baguette but it was in a boillo kind of bread. The beef got nice flavor, but there were many chewy pieces that made it not easy to eat.

Spring roll was delicious.

Very kind and professional staff. First time here so I tried the steak Pho and my husband got the banh mi sandwich. Overall, the Pho broth was the best we’ve had in a while. I’d rather put my own steak in it as I thought it was over cooked and a little rubbery. Will get another kind next time. The banh mi bread was excellent but the sauce on the sandwich was too tangy. It overpowered the other ingredients, plus the sandwich needs some jalapeños on it. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks!

First time ordering and felt the portions did not match the price. Paid $7 and received 1 eggroll.
The containers the food were transferred in did not feel safe to eat as they were opened.
Would not order from here again.

The food is okay but poor customer service. Ordered a banh mi for togo so when I came to pick it up. I grabbed just one piece of napkin and the cashier gave me an attitude saying that there is already a napkin in the bag… I placed the napkin I already had in my hand back

The food was good. My family and I were super hungry, at this point anything would have suffice, and there wasn't much meat in the banh mi.

I came in a few days ago for dinner. Like alot of the reviews mention the meat portion you are given is very small compared to other places I've been while somehow being more expensive at the same time. Flavors were also not great. Chewy texture on the beef and dry pork. I would not come back. I also see the way the owner responds to reviews which kills it for me too. They seem very unwilling to take criticism and make changes to keep people coming back. Not a good look.

Reply to the owner claiming I lied. The last 1 star I gave was almost 2 years ago. I once in a blue moon leave a 1 star review when it's truly bad. Just by the way the owner responded back is first of all unprofessional and petty. It was not 9 oz of meat I can promise you that. I have ordered the same thing few times before and I know how much meat should come on it. That is why majority of the negative reviews almost mentions the exact same problem but this owner is delusional.

You pay way too much for such little meat for the rice plates. I paid 24 dollars for about 3 bites of pork and 3 bites of beef, not even over exaggerating. Every piece of beef had tendons in it so you couldn't even eat it. Definitely won't be back. The owner claimed it is half and half. I got less meat then if I ordered a regular plate without paying for the extra meat. Waste of money. Better Vietnamese places in Austin.

The banh mi here was lacking and small for $10 per sandwich. We bought 12 dac biet (combo) sandwiches and hoped for it to be packed and have a variety of meats but there was only 2 that we could see. The pate and butter was really light and not flavorful, the bread also was not very authentic as it tasted like American bread (the texture was more soft and flat). Many other authentic banh mi places I frequent usually has a deal of “buy _ get _ free” for their banh mi’s and was slightly disappointed that there was none of that. Being originally from Dallas and frequently visiting other richly populated Vietnamese areas, I would say to of course take our review with a grain of salt. I wanted to give it two stars because everything was packed neatly, our service was pleasant and the overall restaurant was clean and nice. I would not come back here for the banh mi though, the value just wasn’t there for us and it was the most expensive banh mi I’ve ever bought from what we thought was an authentic spot.

Amazing grilled pork ban mi. Super friendly, fast service at a decent price. I can see myself coming back here for years to come...

For the price the serving size of pho is very small compared to other places in the area. The broth was greasy which was odd. It was seasoned though. The chicken meat didn’t taste fully cooked. Big disappointment.

Pros: fresh, authentic ingredients and handmade noodles will satisfy the purists; cooked up fresh and served hot; wide range of pho, noodles, and sandwiches (banh mi). Cons: a bit pricey and a bit slow versus the spots in the market around the corner; pretty plain and quiet for dine-in.
