One of the nicest, most expansive WF I've ever been to. Definitely worth checking out. So much to choose from. Updated from previous review on 2025-06-27
This is in a central location and has good parking availability but like all WF stores is overpriced.
Whole Foods never disappoints. You can find everything your vegan heart desires. From coffee roared in store, to local treats, sustainable cleaning supplies and cosmetics, etc. This particular store is nicely located as well.
You won't be disappointed with the amount of options here. Hot bar, cold bar, sandwiches, pizzas, calzones, and treats! They've got an outdoor seating area to if you want to relax!
Cool place to shop and visit. It has a great selection. Easy in the store and out. Definitely worth visiting and shopping.
Even during Covid, a fun place to shop. Lots of pre-prepared foods, along with excellent produce. I love getting bacon and sausage here, along with different cuts of meat. Clearly not a discount shopping experience, but for the most part I think the prices are reasonable given the quality of the food/grocery items. Great delivery, with lots of free slots if you don’t want go into the store.
I was living in austin, tx in May to August and went to whole foods many times to eat lunch, and use wifi connection, the employees are obsessed with telling you to wear the mask, they don't really care about social distancing and that is just as important. Also, the girl in the Florist Department who works there was screaming at me about the mask and was yelling that she was calling the POLICE and i would never come to that store again, i don't live in austin, texas i am a visitor.....!!!!!!! Is she crazy!!!! Then she had tatoos all over her body, her arms were covered with these tatoos and she had jewlery all over her face and nose. She was out of control then i started to yell at her because i felt as though she was getting away with too much. Then i left and they did call the police, there is no reason for those people to act that way. SHE should be fired from her Job for mistreating a customer like that. Next time i went to Whole Foods the manager approached me and said I was never allowed in that store again because of the way i spoke to his employee. Younger people are more than rude in Whole Foods that work there, i am a 60 yr old woman and they TOTALLY OFFENDED ME!!!!!!!!
My partner and I picked up supper here tonight. Out in the parking lot, there’s a high curb (18 inches?) that borders the sidewalk near the car charging station. Coming from the high side of the curb, it is not marked and there is no rail or other precaution. My partner stepped off the curb in the dark and took a bad fall down into the parking lot. Luckily he does not seem to be seriously hurt but the next person may not be so lucky. FIX IT NOW!!!
We went here to pick up a few things while traveling through Austin a bit. We were really impressed with the way the store was well managed and organized.
Maybe if you live somewhere where you have your own you would be less impressed but for us, in our month long stay, it was a destination. several choices of meals to eat there or take home, an in house wine bar/ beer service with many choices. Tons of choice for just about every product. Close to all sorts of other things so an easy stop (for us) on the way home.

lots of variety in terms of precooked foods. We were delighted by the vats of olive oil and balsamic that you can self-serve for whatever volume you like. Can also grind your own nut-butters. Fresh and fab produce, good cheese selection.
The flagship store of Whole Foods Market. Great store! Fantastic customer experience, great choice of ready to eat foods, nice bar as well. Had a meal and a couple if beers there. Very nice! Highly recommended!
The prepared foods here are dangerous you can spend alot of money. So many vegan options in this store. This whole food is very busy and parking is like navigating a maze.
Our wait, many years ago, for the flagship store to move to this location has been largely forgotten, and today it seems that it has always been here. Back then the Lamar store was more quirky and possibly even parochial; now it is more like grand central station. Updated from previous review on 2020-01-12
This is the MOTHER of all Whole Food Stores...literally a mall, playground, restaurant and entertainment center. After wandering around looking at the amazing diversity of products, we settled on coffee and a freshly baked treat to be enjoyed on the sunny rooftop, which houses a small playground for young kids, and a covered tent area for music. Whooa, couldn't ask for anything better....even a wellness center in the lower level!
