Talking about some fresh carnitas and Barbocoa
For Barbacoa in Austin Texas it’s good the beef and goat barbacoa was tasty good flavor and the salsas are good but might need more spice, the consome was ok maybe because I’m not from Texas and Im use to a different style of consome, overall they satisfy my craving for barbacoa but I had better barbacoa in CA, either way I do think this is the best barbacoa spot I have found in Austin Texas
When they start was really good and they start to be famous they start to change 1 they crush the in to the meat too make heavy 2 No meat on consome

The food is EXQUISITE. The meat is so tender that melts in your mouth. It appears though that they don't add salt to the barbacoa (the sheep's at least) and just allow it to cook in its own juices so you may need to add some if you'd prefer. The consome which is a broth produced from slow cooking the meat, is also so flavourful; they add garbanzo beans, potatoes, and some barbacoa meat-such a great broth good for dipping your tacos in (see video). The atmosphere however, waiting in line can be a bit harsh during the cold winter weather. The service is phenomenal-they put customers first. My advice, go early so you can be one of the first ones and you don't have to wait too long in line and you also get first dibs. They're quite popular so their barbacoa runs out quickly! Enjoy!

The barbacoa in its 3 styles (goat, lamb and beef) were great, I truly believe this place is the best place to eat barbacoa nearby, definitely not TexMex !! Some consider it pricey, but honestly knowing how much time they put in eat on preparing the barbacoa plus the flavor, it worth it.

Don’t eat here. Inefficient cook. Mas matapang pa sa manager. Everyone in this resto were like stiff. Binili pa yata yun Pasta sa Itallianis. It was really odd cooking a pasta for an hour. Wala naman masyado ng tao.
Very good attention, delicious tacos
Barbacoa is very good, but very expensive ($30 per pound)
The Franklin BBQ of Taco stands can be found in Pilot Knob just outside of Austin. The line here was at least 50 deep when I got here and was informed that the Barbacoa tacos were en fuego.
Long line but food was great

Authentic goat and lamb barbecue made with maguey stalks, the broth is delicious, excellent service, it reminded me of my Queretaro, Mexico. Just that only cash is accepted.
