Bee Bite Dumpling (One Bite Dumpling)

I've been there twice already! It's soo good! I would recommend getting the chili oil wontons, green beans, and black and pepper udon. There are different spice levels (they don't say this) but I think default is wayyyy to spicy.
The first time I ordered the black and pepper udon, the flavor was sooo good BUT it was too spicy to enjoy 😭 second time I got it mild, and it was perfect... So good!!

If demand is any indication, I’m sure their food is great - but I wouldn’t know because I never got to taste it. This place is super understaffed and the wait list was long. Prepare to wait a long time to be seated and even longer to eat!

Ordered takeout, was quoted 15 minutes until it was ready - gave up after 50 minutes, ran out of time. The staff were very kind though and didn’t charge me for the meal.

The best Asian food in Austin, authentic and realistic without all the gourmet little portions and nothing fancy and unnecessary, the portions were actually huge, which is amazing, out of every order you can have two people eat, they brought me the chicken fried rice and I had ordered it with extra bacon (which they were so nice to not charge it) and because they actually brought it to me without the bacon by mistake they took the time of bringing another huge plate with what I had actually ordered completely complementary, I hadn’t even noticed the bacon was missing, they are dedicated to good service, it was delicious, and the dumplings are hand made that’s just top notch, and even better, sooooo affordable for all you eat, go hungry for sure

What a hidden gem! Had the spicy beef soup (medium spiciness), the black pepper chicken (mild spiciness), and the dry cooked green beans. All were flavorful, and the portions were generous. Will definitely be going back, looking forward to doing Dim Sum there.

Omg, this is hands down the best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to! Their spicy beef noodle soup was incredible, perfectly spicy, with soft, delicious noodles. There was a girl with curly hair who recommended it to me (I wish I’d gotten her name!) and I’m so glad she did. I also tried their fried rice, and it’s easily one of the best I’ve had, full of flavor and generous portions. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which just makes the experience even better. 10/10 recommend! 🥰

Delicious food and amazing atmosphere!
The food here is absolutely delicious — you can really taste the freshness and quality in every dish. Everything is full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The service is friendly and fast. Definitely a place worth coming back to!

I don't think this restaurant would pass a health inspection. The napkins were already splattered with liquid when we sat down. The dirty dish station is in view-so I had a close-up of the following:

-Waiters grabbing the lid off dirty teapots and putting them on teapots going out for service
-Waiters dropping food on the floor and walking by the mess for some time
-Waiters grabbing bowls by sticking their fingers directly into the bowls
-Dishes piling up and waiters grabbing the dirty dishes from the pile, disappearing behind the curtain, and then drying them moments later in front of the curtain

The food was fine, not great, but I was so disturbed by the above I couldn't enjoy it. They need a serious re-training of staff and someone in charge of keeping the place clean and running smoothly.

I have ordered takeout several times, but never eaten in the restaurant. So, no opinion on atmosphere. The food that I have ordered has been consistently delicious. The staff that I have interacted with have been friendly and helpful. I’m a big fan of the vegetable lomein and the pork and bokchoy dumplings. I do plan to try other options, though. 👍👍😁

I've ordered twice from here. Both times were delicious. The first time I ordered the fried rice wasn't very good. However, this time I ordered chow mein instead and it was SO GOOD! I also recommend the garlic bok choy, orange chicken and cheese wonton. This is now my go to for Chinese!

Keeping this review short and sweet - this place is authentic; the service is excellent and the food is delicious and reasonable.

We were here when it first opened and have visited many times by ourselves or with various groups of our friends and we all enjoy it!

I am thankful for this humble and authentic spot, so whenever I am craving Asian food, we come here and it just feels right.

Special shot out to the their incredibly hospitable staff, especially Leo and the owner…we greatly appreciate visiting and seeing their familiar and friendly faces. They go above and beyond to make this place feel more like home!
