The sandwich I ate was really good. I should have added more bbq sauce but the meat was tender and toppings were good. I would recommend gthis place and will definitely be going back. Also I didn't try it but my buddy said the lemonade was really good
Great BBQ and ambienceI was looking for BBQ on my way to where I was going and was so happy I stopped here. Conveniently just off the hwy, but when you're there you feel like you're in the country.For years it has been a roadside trailer/stand but they recently built a permanent building w a large porch that makes you feel you are at home with family. So hospitable, I chatted for a bit with the owner. The food was awesome and came out fast, so glad I decided to stop...
I ordered fatty brisket, potato salad and lemonade. It’s tough deciding how many stars to give this place. The brisket was perfectly cooked, but the way it was presented after being wrapped could’ve been better. It was tender and moist, but needed more smoke and seasoning. I don’t recall seeing any fat on the edges and no bark. Maybe it had to do with the section they cut from.The potato salad was good. Nice and mustardy, tasted like a homemade recipe. No complaints at all....
