I went to school with the johnson girl. Good people. Sorry to see it looks like Berts has ended in Austin. Not surprised. We all got old. God speed guys. Great memories eating here with Dad.

Brought a large brisket for them to smoke for me and all I have to say is that Austin is so blessed to have a shop that does this for us. The flavor of the meat was so delicious and they smoked it to perfection. Before I knew about Bert's, I used to go to Rudy's, but not anymore. The meat at Berts tastes better. Also, the guys that work there are all so nice and kind.

I have been coming here since I was a little kid! My parents have been coming since they first met over 40 yrs ago! The atmosphere is exactly the same since then and brings so much nostalgia when I walk in! Jay and Kid are so sweet! The food is the best BBQ around!! I recommend the T-Man special....yummmm!!
