We were going to go to interstellar but decided a 3 hour wait was insane. Came here instead and honestly don't know how much better the brisket could have gotten!!

Not sure how anyone could receive bad service or bad food here, it was so spot on for me! Pricing was also perfect for the portions and the food served. Very friendly staff.

Ordered the 3-meat plate, and everything hit the spot. The brisket stole the show—tender, smoky, and packed with flavor—while the ribs came in a close second. The homemade BBQ sauce was a nice touch, though the meat was tasty enough to stand on its own. The dirty rice was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. All that for around $20 is a solid deal.

I order from this place a lot via Door Dash. I always get Chopped Beef Sandwich, and it has been awesome every single time! They toast the Bun, and the pricing is amazing. I live in Temple, but work in Austin. My only recommendation is that they include pickles on the side.
If you think you’ve had good BBQ before, Bigg Belly BBQ Co. is about to make you question that. This is the kind of place that doesn’t just feed you—it grabs your attention and doesn’t let go. We chose it for our anniversary, and instead of talking and scrolling our phones, we were locked in. The smell alone had us leaning over the table like, yeah… this is about to be serious.
We didn’t play it safe. We went all out: chopped beef sandwich, two-meat plates with two sides, ribs over rice with pinto beans, plus dirty rice. When that food hit the table, it was game over. The chopped beef was stacked high, dripping with juice, and packed with smoky flavor that hits you immediately and then keeps building. The ribs were thick, meaty, and so tender they barely needed teeth—seasoned all the way through, not just on the outside. Every bite felt intentional, like someone actually cared how it tasted.
Now let’s talk about the BBQ sauce—because this is where a lot of places fumble. Not here. They don’t give you a tiny cup and hope for the best. They hook you up. The sauce is bold, rich, sweet, smoky, and tangy in perfect balance. It doesn’t drown the meat; it makes it better. The kind of sauce you keep dipping into even when you swear you’re done eating.
The sides were not background players. The dirty rice was deeply seasoned and tasted homemade. The pinto beans were rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The rice soaked up all that smoky goodness like it was made for it. And the portions? Big. The kind that makes you slow down, lean back, and admit defeat.
This wasn’t just dinner—it was a moment. The kind of meal that turns an anniversary into a memory and a first visit into a promise to come back. Bigg Belly BBQ Co. isn’t trying to impress you—they just do. If you’re craving real BBQ with flavor, heart, and zero shortcuts, this is the place you need to try. 🍔🥩😋🤤

Just had the brisket sandwich and it was very good! My only complaint is that it didn't come with pickles and onions.

I just ate at that place and it was a very bad experience. They were out of brisket so I ordered ribs and chicken, the Ribs were COLD, Dry and old! The only thing flavored enough was the rice and beans, I feel like I just paid $18 for rice and beans. Please don’t even bother to go to this place.

This place was highly recommended to me so I gave it a try. I ordered a plate with brisket, rib, beans, and potato salad and a banana pudding. Being that it was when they first opened I expected better quality. The meat was dry and tough, but the sides were great. The banana pudding was the best thing I ordered, however for the price it could’ve been bigger!! I may give them another try and order something different.

I got a brisket sandwich from here months ago & it was not good. Decided to give it a second chance today & once again it was just super grisly and mushy with no smoke flavor whatsoever. It also tasted like they sprinkled pretzel salt on the meat. The turkey leg was actually very good! Nice Smokey meat & the rub on the outside had a nice spice to it. The dirty rice was awesome, but the beans had an odd peppery taste. The banana pudding was superb. Unfortunately I have to give it a 3 stars since they went 0/2 on the brisket. That’s a important item to have dialed & it just was not good

I’ve ordered catering three times with them for my company events. They are consistently amazing and all my guests rave about the food, including myself. Thanks for making me look good, guys!

The brisket, ribs, and some of the sausage were a little dry, but I’ll give them another try. The chicken, though, was incredible. Hands down the best BBQ chicken I’ve had in Austin. Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and worth going back for. The dirty rice was delicious, and I’m excited to try the chicken and dirty rice plate. Potato salad was a bit too eggy for me, but my husband loved it. Friendly service, and I hear the turkey legs sell out fast. I was there at noon on a Wednesday and they were already sold out. If they’re anything like the chicken, I get why!
I want to add… well make a suggestion. Can yall make a full chicken?
