Some weird white guy was standing over the cashier at the window when I went to order and it was pretty strange. We were having a nice conversation and he was monitoring everything we were saying with a ugly mean look on his face looking back-and-forth at us. I posted a review about this, but for some reason, Google didn’t approve of it. Hope that girl’s OK back there.

Breakfast tacos here are excellent. The fried chicken is good. The BBQ is just ok and I wouldn't suggest it from here if you're looking for authentic TX BBQ, go to a BBQ restaurant who's main focus is BBQ.

They killing people with this raw bacon. I refuse to eat it. It was so very gross. Went to work and discovered they gave me a raw Breakfast taco and I couldn't leave work to take it back so I didn't get to eat breakfast. I'm calling the Better business bureau this is unacceptable 👍

First time visiting Bill Miller BBQ, and the experience was amazing! The drive-thru employee was incredibly patient and friendly. I grabbed the #8 Rancher plate, and the portion was huge. The ribs and chicken were delicious, and I loved that it came with three sides—the mac & cheese, Spanish rice, and green beans were a perfect combo. I washed it all down with a large Half Sweet Tea / Half Lemonade that hit the spot. Fast service and great food—I’ll definitely be back!

The quality of food from Bill Millers has deteriorated dramatically. This restaurant used to be my favorite over 30 yrs ago. They had limited locations so they took pride in their craft. I was gone for over 20 yrs because of the military but in the early yrs, when I came back to visit SATX, this was my go to place. When we came back to live in TX, we went yo the one on 35 and the food was cold & bland. The pecan pie which I had liked more than Cracker Barrel was gritty and tasted like flour. That was 2018.
So in 2025, I wanted to give them one more try. We went up the one on 290. I ordered a poor boy Plus extra lean. This means XTRA MEAT than the usual poor boy. I have always ordered this in the past. I don’t know what I got because this was not a Plus poor boy. They used to give you sauce with the poor boy. I got nothing this time. I had to ask for it. When corporate greed surpasses the quality and love of their food, it’s time to go.
