The young lady at the drive thru window was the most professional I have seen in all of my drive thru visits and that's a lot! I hope she stays. I visited around 4:30 pm on 04/02/2025.
BBQ is not great, service was amazing, if you try this spot go with the fried chicken. And expect to wait for at least 30 mins before you get your food. Even if there is only 3 or 4 tables with customers.
First time I have been there in about 30 years, used to go weekly because it was a solid meal for a good price. Service is not as good anymore, you have to order at the counter and then wait at a table for your name to be called. It used to be a fast cafeteria. Some of the tables had crumbs on them, but they had the Help Wanted sign displayed, so I think they are trying to address the problem. One worker said they only pay $15/hour to start, that is probably part of the problem....
