Bills is seriously the best. The go-to imho is one of each oyster, Caesar salad, burger, fries and a Carl from St Elmo.

Beautiful place! When we arrived, we were seated outside, but the server obliged our request to move inside and we grabbed seats at the bar. Awesome tartare and HH burger, also ESPRESSO MARTINIS. You won’t be disappointed for a smooth downtown date night experience.

5 stars all the way around. Every dish we got was super fresh. Service was great and you can't beat the happy hour menu! We got a few things from there and then added on from the main menu. Ate a ton of super fresh seafood for a very reasonable price.

OH EM GEEEEEEEE!!!!! I’ve seen all the instagram reels and TikTok’s about this place so decided to bring my boyfriend here for date night! I saw lots of people review the burger with nothing but positive things to say (he got it and loved it!). I tried it and it was soooo juicy and cheesy. The french fries were also exactly what we were hoping they’d be!!!! Shoe string and crispy!
I got the fried grouper fingers and let me tell you…if you’re afraid your child won’t like anything here, order it for them!!!! Legit the best chicken fingers I’ve had… EXCEPT ITS NOT CHICKEN!! Your kid won’t even be able to tell a difference. And if you’re an adult that also appreciates fried fish, you’ll love it too!! While I would rather have seen it paired with fries as opposed to the slaw, I was super satiated with just the fish. Seriously cannot hype it up enough. The seasoning on the breading is perfect (peppery and salty) and it’s sooo crunchy! Plus the fish inside is so soft and buttery. Will be thinking about these for a few days.
I got the Salty Dog to drink and it was exactly what I was looking for. I’m a vodka girl but don’t love anything too sweet. I prefer citrusy drinks. Lots of restaurants lack on their vodka based drinks so I was super happy with this option.
The only critique I truly have is outdoor seating. We were completely fine sitting outside but they tried to put us in a corner with a tree like 6 inches from one of the seats. But, we told them of our concerns and they were happy to accommodate and move the actual table to a better location on their “patio”. I could see someone hitting their head or just being largely uncomfortable in that area if they were too afraid to speak up.
Our waiter Emily was delightful and only enhanced our experience. We will SO be back.

Poseidon must have had his first Oysters here…then decided, due to his new found love for the sea, that is where he shall live. Prior to his departure from dry land, he was also graced with one of the best burgers these lands have yet tasted. Then upon his arrival to the sea, he returned the favor to Bills Oyster, by sending a crab cake so delicoussssss, the crabs line up hoping to be chosen.
In all seriousness, I thought the bartender was gaslighting me saying it was the best burger in town, “ok…🙄”, I thought. To my great surprise, I was wrong, so incredibly wrong. This is one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted. 🤩🤩🤩Simple, yet perfected. An amazing aioli that blesses the incredible short rib and brisket blended patties.

We’ve been looking for good seafood in Austin and I think we found it here! We ordered the seafood tower, mozzarella sticks with caviar, steak tartare, and a burger… so good!
Check it out, great value, cool ambiance, and great seafood. PS, their burger goes hard.

Best oysters in Austin. The steak tartar unfortunately, the worst. Way too much parm cheese, no quail egg or radish, no bread, just some stale, broken to dust saltine crackers. Very sloppy and low effort.

I was given a severly spoiled oyster 2 days ago and have been sick ever since. The staff all agreed it was very spoiled and I watched the kitchen staff throw away the rest of the oysters they just gave me. When I told them it was spoiled, the manager didn’t even bother to get off of his computer to come and say anything. For a place that boasts oysters, selling an oysters that tasted like a port-a-potty is wildly disappointing. Clark’s is too close to visit this place.
